Gorgeous ring but cheap metal

This ring is beautiful in its design as well as in the cut of the stones. But the non-sterling silver ring base tarnished in less than 2 weeks of gentle wear. The thin silver coating and anti-tarnish coating wore away. Unfortunate as it's gorgeous. Herkimer Mines is my favorite jewelry line by far but I won't be purchasing anything in the future that is not completely sterling silver.

Herkimer Mines "Diamond" Quartz crystals are magnificent works of nature. Naturally double-terminated with 18 facets, these crystals were formed nearly 500 years ago and are mined in the USA.
