Disappointed

I was very disappointed with this blender. The base and lid to this blender are made cheaply with a flimsy plastic compared to other blenders Ive used and the other brands were half the price of this one and performed better.I mainly use my blender for making smoothies but this blender did not blend very well (maybe due to the short blades). The motor also gave off a strong plastic burning smell when I had it running. Unfortunately for me cs was not able to help me bc of their 30 day policy
