Overview & Details

Hal Rubenstein The "Esther" Accordion Pleated Skirt
OK, so you can’t play the instrument, but you can take advantage of its most notable feature. Wearing an accordion pleated skirt will give you something to sing about because it feels amazing — so light, freeing and expansive, yet always folding back to a shape that shows you off at your best. But what's the "Esther" skirt even more special than its handsome waist-to-hem pleating is its unique fabric, a woven rayon featuring sheer striping rendered in the subtlest of diagonals all around the skirt. Take it for a spin.

Fit Guide - Fit by Waist:

  • perfect

I bought both colors in size 14 (my usual is 12), due to Hal's sizing being smaller. The14 fit perfectly. I like the black and ivory; can be worn with different tees and blouses.

  • Very elegant

I have been looking for a pleated skirt for some time they are not easy to find. Since I wanted a white skirt I decided to give this designer a try. I could not beat the clearance price for sure. When I got it home it was surprisingly made well. and not to shear or bulky. I am 5'3" so I got the xs. I did not know how the sizes ran so I took a chance and it fit perfect.

  • Cute

The skirt they sent me looks like it was a return. It was already used based on the stains at the waistline. I had to iron it well because it needs it, and I believe it will need ironing after washing.
