Do you love fresh fruit? Probably, but certainly not the pesky fruit flies that seem to accompany it. Rylie Teeter Leier and her husband Chris came up with an innovative solution to their fruit fly issue. After trying products currently on the market, they decided to design their own trap – something that was discrete, cute and reusable. Through many design iterations and actual fruit fly tests, they created the FlyFix. Is anything bugging you? Not anymore.

Overview & Details

FlyFix Set of 2 Fruit Fly Catcher
Fruit flies gather around your food like they're at a summit meeting. But now you're in control with FlyFix, an attractive, effective method that lures in the pesky creatures and traps them before they invade your food. Brightly-colored crystal-like tops and scent vents entice them, while the funnel allows flies to enter but not exit. It's like the Hotel California for fruit flies.

  • Pleasantly surprised!

Okay, so when I first saw these I was highly skeptical, but I thought they were worth a try given the issues I have with fruit flies in the summer. Color me shocked, but they truly work as good as they say! I got the white with blue top and I use apple cider vinegar as bait instead of unsightly chunks of fruit. What a body count these little things rack up and it keeps them out of my food. They are really easy to use and cleaning is a snap! I love these things and will be buying more!

We started to be overrun by fruit flies as were many of our friends and we were tired of swatting them. We happened to see the presentation and decided that we were desperate and ordered. Vinegar did the trick!

  • Hey--Good Idea

I wasn't too thrilled with these at first and then I thought maybe I hadn't placed a large enough piece of fruit inside. I changed to a piece of banana about an inch in length and wow! I no longer have fruit flies in my kitchen. The catchers worked like a charm! And I had a bad infestation which prompted me to get them in the first place. Wouldn't be without these now. If you have this issue, go for it and get these. You won't be sorry. I tried everything I could think of before these.

  • Whoa

Wow, I was so surprised how well this adorable gadget worked. I didnt even realize how many fruit flies I had just lingering around until I used this. I added apple vinegar, it is like ambrosia to these winged creeps. No more pests in my face for me!
