Emeril Lagasse Stainless Steel Mandoline

Tried using the julienne blade, and had a hard time keeping the potatoes on the holder. Will take time to get used to. Harder than expected per the presentation.

Finally a slicer that juliennes to make French fries. Very sturdy and knob selector is easy. However,I cannot figure out how to make waffle slices. The directions say to turn to waffle dial,but there is no such dial.Emeril can call me to clarify. Hope you get more in.

The quality of this mandolin slicer is very good ..after slicing my fingers on others this one makes me very comfortable and safe to use.. no cutting gloves needed. The food holder is secure no worries about fingers getting close to blade as food slices down .The size is just right and the stainless steel makes it an easy clean with no staining( rinse with cold water first) I hope they have more I am ordering another as a spare. My new kitchen toy appliance

I was able to buy this mandolin on sale and it was during free shipping. Its of very high quality due to being made of stainless steel. The blade is very sharp and I definitely use with extreme caution.I recommend this mandolin to any foodie or home chef!!
