Overview & Details

Elite Gourmet 4qt. Electric and Manual Old Fashioned Ice Cream Maker
Your child will be the hit of the birthday party brigade when you invite everyone to make their favorite ice cream. Even the adults will be in line. The motor turns a six-fin paddle that whips air into the ingredients producing a smooth, rich soft serve ice cream. Quickly crush cookies, fruit, chocolate chips or a variety of other yummy toppings for your own concoction. For a firmer ice cream texture, use the traditional manual crank. Either way, it's an icy blast from the past.

  • Outstanding Ice Cream Maker

I had one of these for years tell it broke down and I also had to crank it way back then. I could not found this for years tell I saw it on Hsn an then I saw you just don't have to just crank it now. I like making it with cream most of the time, But you can put 1/2 1/2 in it as well. Try fresh peaches in it will be a big hit .I give this a 5 Star. If you crank it it will be a hard Ice Cream an it takes about 40 minutes or a little longer.

  • Cheaply made

For the money, this product is cheaply made. I'm on my first batch of ice cream. I followed all instructions to the letter. The wooden basket leaks water, good thing I had the forethought of placing a serving platter under the machine. I had to pull the ice cream pot full of liquid and pour out the ice, because the machine got stuck from who knows what got it stuck. Re seat the components and ice cream pot. Refill it with the melting ice, empty my forethought serving plater filled with water. Then at about the 40 min mark it stopped, ice cream was a soft serve like they said it would be. No I would not recommend this Made in China old fashioned ice cream machine. I may send it back for something American Made
