    Great value

    For low profile hikers, these are very well made. I ordered wide width, for extra thick boot socks, I could have went with normal width. The inner footbed is completely removable, so if you prefer an orthopedic or other liner, well worth it as the shoe is very well constructed. I prefer a more rigid sole for rough terrain, which makes this shoe perfect. I also like that the suede has been pretreated. This is not for "no sock" hiking. I also gifted a pair to my sister for her treks.

    Size issue

    Nice and sturdy. I got them for road walking. I would size down half a size.

    Should Have Read Reviews Before Ordering

    These are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. The insole is hard as a rock, needs serious padding. The shoes fits too high at the ankles. I typically wear my tennis shoes with no socks. I thought maybe this was the problem but when I wore socks with these, I still experienced the same issues. I really tried to make these work but its not worth the hassle. Im sure these shoes fit perfectly for some, but for me, its a big fat no.

    Big Mistake

    This show is not comfortable at all. I bought the sand and the black. The black has completely faded. I live in California so I'm not using them in harsh weather. Their shape has not held up. They are not comfortable at all and have an awkward fit. By the end of my day my feet are achy and tired.They do have good traction. I wish I would I could send the unused pair back but it's passed the 30 days..I will donate the new pair.

    Great Quality

    Not sure about what people are talking about in these reviews. Exactly what I was expecting. I used to wear Eddie Bauer shoes but they quit making them in size 12, so I was excited to find these. I have extremely high arches, so I always add arch support insoles in my shoes. Toe wiggle room, have hammer toes-need toe room! I wore mine yesterday out working in the yard, worked great! Nice quality shoe, looks like the picture. Sturdy with great traction. Would recommend!
