  • Can't say enough good about this product

When I first bought my Kuretake Zig (watercoloring) Real Brush Markers I tried to blend them with a wet paint brush on another brand of watercolor cardstock. The color didn't move much and the surface abraded. Then I watched the demo artist from Crafter's Companion on HSN working with the Spectrum Aqua markers (I have those too) and they seemed so wet and spread so easily. So I bought this cardstock. My new Zig markers blend very easily on this wonderful cardstock. It looks like real watercoloring! I also watched a YouTube video of Crafter's Companion artist Sheena. She goes way back with these techniques so I figured she knew what she was doing in her product development and that hunch has proved to be right. Watercolor paper has some kind of treatment that makes it suitable for spreading the color and accepting the water medium without damage so regular cardstock will not work as well for watercoloring techniques.
