Chaco Canyon Kingman Turquoise Scrolled-Edge Oval Pendant
The "Ahs" have it for this lovely turquoise pendant designed by Shania Johnson. Not too bold, but certainly an eye-catcher, it's the perfect finish to the perfect outfit. Just slip it on a chain, fasten it around your neck and see ...

Design Information

  • Sterling silver pendant with a bezel-set oval Kingman turquoise cabochon
  • Scrolled edging
  • Tapered bail

Good to Know
  • Moisture, skin oils and environmental factors can change the color of turquoise jewelry if left untreated. But stabilizing turquoise helps preserve the stone's normal color. Natural, mined turquoise nuggets are heated at a very low temperature for about a week, slowly drawing out moisture without damaging the texture. The stones are then placed into acrylic or polymer chemicals to replace water molecules. This stabilizes the stone and keeps its beauty and value intact.

  • Due to the composition and natural properties of mined gemstones, the product image may show slight differences to the actual stone in color saturation, tone, hue or other gemstone characteristics such as phenomena, color banding and color matrix.

  • Gemstones and pearls are sometimes treated to enhance their natural beauty. To learn more and find out about care instructions see details.

  • Very simple but still makes a statement

The turquoise is a lovely bright shade with just the right amount of matrix. The scrolling really makes the color pop. I love that it's completely enclosed in silver. So substantial! This is not my first piece of Chaco Canyon, and it will not be my last!

  • Pretty piece, but disappointed

I love the pendant I recieved but the silver edging on the bottom of the pendant was ruff and black not silver, and looked bad so I decided to send it back.

  • Disappointed

Very heavy black matrix lines with large black spot on top. Looked more like a black stone with small turquoise spots. Returning

  • Disappointed

I was disappointed with the turquoise piece, it was nearly half ugly dull brownish black matrix. The matrix wasnt even polished so the whole piece looked unfinished. The setting was very nice and comfortably light. I had to send it back, though.
