  • Love at first sight

Or I should say first cut. I mainly bought this so I wouldn't have to keep buying dies to go with my stamps. So easy to set up even for me as I am always technology challenged. This is so much faster than using each separate die for stamping. I can stamp a whole page of things, then in seconds can scan and cut everything out. I was amazed at the precision and detail that it cuts. Tiny blades of grass or antenna on a butterfly, perfect every time. Talk about fast----a whole page of stamping done so fast you won't believe it. It does a lot of other things besides this of course, but I figure if I only use it for cutting my stamps and not have to buy the expensive dies then It will have paid for itself over and over again.Absolutely love my scan n cut2 cm350h

  • great machine!

Not only does this machine does my fussy cutting flawlessly, it cuts other material very well. I just don't care for the mat because it looses it's stickiness quickly.

  • Love it

I love this HOWEVER, I am sure it does so much more than I even KNOW about. I wish it came with a booklet of examples, etc. I don't know if you can download from a brother site or anything. I think I am not getting full value yet since I really don't know all that it does.

  • Love this machine

I had been wanting this machine since the first version was released, but didn't want to spend the money since I have other crafting/die cutting machines. However, when the Scan n Cut 2 was demonstrated on HSN I had to have it. Reduced price was great and I love this machine. I still haven't figured out how to use all the features, even though I have had it a month or two now, but that is because I haven't taken the time to learn it all. The features I have used work beautifully. The Brother Scan n Cut 2 is a very welcome additional to my craft room.

  • Scan n Cut

I just love this machine. I no longer "fussy cut"any of my paper crafts. The machine is so easy to use and there are a ton of videos at the Brother web site as well as YouTube and Create and Craft UK! So glad I purchased and look forward to many years of crafting with the Scan n Cut.

  • FANTASTIC

I can't believe what this machine does. It is the greatest think since sliced bread. Julie has excellent videos that answer all questions. Best craft item ever. Don't believe any of those negative reviews--simply not true. If you are thinking about it--go ahead you have no worries with HSN they will stand behind it

  • Most Innovative die cutting machine out.

I have done so much with this machine thinking outside the box. I also love the ability to stamp and cut my images without purchasing $1000 of matching dies. love paper piecing my prima doll stamps in multiples. I'm not a fussy cutter, i think its relaxing but the quality of my piece is not acceptable for my project. so if u r a messy fussy cutter, this is 4 u. love Wi-Fi and svg ability. love bigger, very vibrant screen. Will need to tape down paper, mat stickiness wears quickly.

  • Good but not the best

I own several cutting machines. I bought this one specifically for the "Scan" feature. I got tired of wasting scraps of vinyl that could be used. This works perfect for that! I apply the scraps to the mat and scan, allowing me to place my images and fit them into the scrap pieces.I also love not being tethered to a computer with this one!My only complaint with this machine is that it doesn't always get the entire image for cutting. When I highlight some items I notice much of it not selected in the highlight for cutting. When this happens I just switch to my other machine and cut on that.Out of the 3 machines I own, this one is my second favorite.Silhouette is my first and the Cricut is last and in my opinion useless.

  • To hard to operate out the box.

I'm going to keep it & master it someday, but out of the box you better start watching all those YouTube videos for help. But I wanted this machine for so long & with the new ScanNCut2 I had to purchase it. I'm sure in about a year or two it will be worth the time, money & frustration I'll endure.

  • A disappointment

I am a loyal Brother fan when it comes to their sewing machines so when I purchased this I had high expectations. This cutter, while it does a decent job, is very difficult to use. It's hard to get designs to the machine to cut. The scanner feature is of poor resolution and not nearly as useful as I was hoping it would be. My biggest complaint is that the software is difficult to use and seems to limit what one can do with this cutter. The built in designs aren't at all very useful and I am very disappointed overall in this product. The cutting mats are not very sturdy and I cut through it on my first use. Accessories are hard to find and most local dealers don't have them in stock, just on their websites. Brother sewing machines are easy to use, short learning curve and are really well made. They need to stick to what they know. they have a long way to go in the development of this cutter.
