  • Great Little Machine

Love this machine...I bought it based on the presentation by Julie Fei-Fen Balzer. The main feature that impressed me was the auto sew and the fact I don't need to use the foot pedal. I have much more control over my sewing. I've tried many of the decorative stitches and they're excellent, nice even stitches. I have another machine which is all metal, heavier, and does only a few stitches. Over the years it has become more difficult for me to use. This is a great machine that does a lot, has a lot of stitches without costing the price of a new car.

  • Disappointed

I ordered this because my other machine is over 7 years old and wanted to update. I was disappointed when I took the machine out of the box and set it up. The plastic was pretty flimsy especially where you put the thread spool. I did not think it would hold up at all. The plastic part where the thread spool is attached snaps down and you need to snap it up when you thread the machine. The spool holder was not sturdy at all. Also, the flaps where the stitches are shown also snap and these parts were also very thin and flimsy. I retuned it. I guess the old saying you get what you pay for is true. I would rather pay a little more and get a more stable machine that won't fall apart.
