Bob Ross Base Coat 8 oz. - Liquid Black
Bob Ross Liquid Base Coats aid in the painting's formulation and keep the canvas wet-- the most fundamental step in Bob's technique. Smooth and slow-drying, they allow blending and mixing right on the canvas (the basis of the Bob Ross wet-on-wet method). These nontoxic base coats are also used to thin other oil colors for application over thicker paint.

Good to Know

Apply a very thin, even coat over the entire surface area using a natural bristle brush, but do not allow to dry before you begin painting
Thin only with Turpenoid Odorless Thinner (sold separately)
