Best shoes ever. Very comfortable No break on time.

I had 2 bunion surgeries in the past, each foot. I am extremely selective of what I wear now... I love Birkenstock. I also purchased the essentials as well as for my grandmother, 73. She absolutely loves her essentials. Will be ordering these for her as well... a must.. should go into a store and try then on, its imperative that you get the right fit. I wear size 9 for everything, however for the essentials, I found 8-8.5 was more my fit.

The print on the sandals are nice, but unfortunately they are defectively made. The toe area is wide but the instep width area is incredibly narrow. I own many pairs of Birkenstocks and theyve never been made like this. I do not have wide feet at all, in fact theyre more narrow and my foot was hanging over near my instep. They had to be returned because of incredible discomfort.

They fit perfect and super cute BUT the pain in between toes was a deal breaker. I wore them in house for a few hours first day and hurt a lot. I hoped i could break them in. Next day, again tried wearing them but noticed it had cuts in between toes on both feet so back they went.
