  • Love This!!!!

I have sewn all of my life and can make anything from clothing to slipcovers bedding and drapery. I can crochet. But put a pair of knitting needles in my hands and I become frighteningly spastic. I have Always wanted to knit, NOW I CAN. LOOK MA! I BE KNITTIN'. WOOHOO.

  • Better loom

This is one of the better made looms for manual knitting. The wooden construction and extenders make it ideal for creating larger pieces. The DVD is a bonus, if you don't already know how to use such a loom. It was worth the sale price.

  • Seems easy so far.

So far it has been easy, I just started to make a double-knit scarf. So we shall see how it turns out.

  • Tricky but fun

The board itself is fun to do. I'm not good at it by any means. I needle knit, that may be my issue, so at times this seems slow. If needle knitting isn't your thing, try this. I've noticed those that can't grasp needle knitting are a whiz at loom knitting. I can't speak on the DVD, it wasn't in my shipment. There are loads of tutorials online though. This is a great price to try it.

  • Good for simple projects

I recently received this knitting board and finally had time to play with it. The DVD that came with it could be a little more complete. It starts off with the stockinette stitch, but doesn't show you how to cast on. It is also hard to really see what they are doing. There is an instruction booklet, but I do better with videos. I will see if YouTube has any. Also, I do traditional knitting and crocheting and I was hoping this would be faster for blankets. It seems like it may be for double knitting, but not sure about single knitting. Tried a small sample of that, and it was kind of difficult. Also wish the two smaller pieces could be put together like the large on. It would be easier to work on a scarf with the small boards instead of the really long ones.
