Fantastic

The top floor of my house is always too hot in the summer. I have central air but hate cranking it up to cool the top floor. I have had window units in the past but wanted to avoid the look of those. I am so glad I bought this! It was easy to install and works great to cool the top floor. Recently our central AC went out and we moved the unit downstairs to cool the first floor until the repairman came! I am sooooo glad I tried it!

Excellent

Bought if for my open living/ dining room and kitchen area , it keeps area cool, take off humidity. It makes some noise, but same as a a window unit, but more powerful , no problems with our switchers, maybe an issue for an old home

Great little air conditioner

Should the hosts have mentioned that this is supposed to have a single-use outlet? Yes. Do my lamps on the same breaker flicker once every time it kicks on? Yes. BUT -- in a hot house, this cools down my bedroom in a very short time. I love that it doesn't have a bin to be emptied, and the timer features are outstanding. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Great air conditioner

I, too, am puzzled by the other reviewers about the electrical outlet. I plugged it into a regular outlet and it works great! The extender was a little too long but, as the instructions noted, I just had to saw some of it off. Love it!
