2021 and 2022 Proof NGC Silver Eagle Congratulations Set Coins
These are the 2021 and 2022 Proof Silver Eagle Congratulation Sets. While the two coins were minted only 12 months apart, their appearance is very different. During that time, the United States Mint changed the design for the Silver American Eagle. 2021 was the final year of the original design, and 2022 is the first year of the new design to appear in the Congratulations Sets. Both sets sold out quickly from the United States Mint's website with a very low mintage for each. According to the United States Mint, the mintage for the 2021 Congratulations Set was 30,000 while the mintage for the 2022 Congratulations Set was limited to 30,000, making these two of the lowest mintage Silver American Eagles.
