Product Description

1900 O-Over-CC Mint Morgan Silver Dollar
Don't miss your chance to own this unique coin or you'll never get over it. This remarkable Morgan silver dollar features a unique and unusual O-over-CC Mint mark. Due to minting with dies converted from the defunct Carson City Mint, some of these Morgan dollars show both Mint marks. The coin comes encapsulated and makes a must-have addition to any serious collector of American coinage.

    Disappointed

I too, was disappointed with what I received. It was not until after christmas that I decided to check out what I had purchased more closely, banking on the presentation of information on the day I purchased them. With inferred promises of the intrinsic value of the coins due to the O over the CC mint, I thought I was getting something that over time would be of more value than a plain Morgan Silver Dollar. But, my close inspection revealed that was not what was on the coin. By the time I wanted to return it, it was too late..I thought I had till the 31st of January. So, now I am stuck with a coin that when googled shows a value of not more than $10 or so. I guess when I am cold in the ground a hundred years from now the value may reach what I paid.

    disappointed

I have always liked the coins I have received from the coin collector shows but this one I did not. I used a very strong magnification and I could see no evidence of a strike over on the coin. I returned it. Maybe I just got a bad one.
