90% silver

  • Due to the amounts of silver in each coin, many of all Morgan Silver Dollars were melted by the U.S. Government in the 1920s to help pay for World War I. Millions more were melted for World War II. More were privately melted in the 1980s when silver reached $50 an ounce, and many were destroyed or worn out in circulation between 1878 and the 1920s.

MS64 grading

  • Coins are graded on a 70-point scale and MS-60 is the standard Brilliant Uncirculated grade
  • This coin is 4 full grades better than a standard Brilliant Uncirculated coin

  • I Love HSN Coins

I love to collect coins and you always have them in nice cases and exactly like you show them. I've been happy with all the coins I've purchased through HSN and the man who brings them to your show. I'm sorry I've forgotten his name.

  • Expected better

I expected much better quality for the money invested. The coin looks like it is in decent enough shape but there seems to be dirt or mold in the casing on the face of the coin. Worse MS64 I have seen. It irritates me every time I look at the coin and obviously takes away the enjoyment of having it. Lesson learned. Never buy coins off the television. You need to look at them in person or at least get a picture of the actual coin you are buying. From now on when these guys are on HSN I will change the channel. In general though I am usually pleased with my other purchases from HSN.
