  • Not for cold weather , (Shihtzufan KY)

    We installed this yesterday, pretty easy and it seemed to work, except it wouldnt unlock all the way. It got hung up midway. I called tech support, they asked what the weather is like here. I live in central Ky, its 21 and snowing. Well, its not designed to work below 30 degrees!!!!What???? Thank goodness for extended returns, its going back.

    the finger print scanner does not work well, after 6 or 7 times trying I just have to use the code and the batteries only last for ONE month ! this is definitely going back.

  • Impressive Feature Set - Wish it Worked, (BobH4 CA)

    Installation is easy if you already have a deadbolt installed. If you use door monitor, get magnet location right. Fingerprint reader - easy to program and test, but try it the next day and it WONT WORK. Internet filled with complaints about the fingerprint reader. I was product manager with HID Global (not an amateur). MFR solution is to sell you another unit at discount which then fails. PIN code works, but cost too high for PIN only. HSN needs to get these guys to fix their firmware!!!

    Returning! Constantly receiving phone message. door lock is jammed. Also, fingerprint scanner doesnt work. Called customer service-no answer, emailed customer service-no reply. I know the lock is installed correctly as my husband is a general contractor, and has installed several door locks. The deadbolt plunger is internally malfunctioning.

  • My Reccomendation To This Product, (nonnakay54 NJ)

    I Was Sent Two Of These Locks And Neither Worked. I Called The Company Tech Support, Who Sent Me An Internal Part That Did Not Work. I Could Not Get It To work With My WiFi Even With An Extender, And It Would Not Work With My Blue Tooth. I Spent "HOURS" And Days On The Phone With The Companies Tech Support. Still Nothing!! I Gave It My Best Shot, But To No Avail!! I Had To Send It Back!! As Per My Experience I Would Not Reccomend This Product!

  • Disappointing return, (suez5 PA)

    Unable to use this lock at the location I wanted it for. Very disappointing that there is no "easy return" from HSN for it as for other purchases. I'll have to return on my own which is much more expensive.
