TCL A3 Tracfone Bundle with 1500 Min/Text/Data

I'm not one for the bigger screens that are almost the size of a small tablet now, so this is a nice phone at a more manageable size for me. I had a little trouble activating this phone, but called TracFone cust service and they were great. Pushed it through their system and even scheduled a call back for a few hours later to ensure everything was working ok. Only four stars because the camera isn't the best and I wish it had come with a case.

You can't beat this phone for the price! However, activating was a pain. Website activation failed, so I called the 7183 number on the blue "Let's Get Started" card. It connected me to a foreign call center where they tried to scam me into purchasing airtime to activate a phone that already includes bundled service! I hung up frustrated and called their Corporate Office in Florida at 800-626-4883. Within minutes, my phone was activated and minutes transferred; no additional purchase required.

This is not a bad phone for the price, especially with the minutes and texts. Biggest disappointment is the include headphones only last about 20-30 minutes on a charge. But, what can you expect at this price!

I bought two of these phones to use as donations to people with no phones. They looked fine to me and hope whomever gets the two phones likes them and gets good service. But, I do have and used several other Tracfones from HSN.

It is best to activate with the Tracfone app and not call customer service. There is Tracfone online also for an account of multiple phones and lines. It activates almost instantly. Just a few minutes and they verify by text what you receive. Minutes text data expiration date. Serial numbers are stored in the handset of the phone details section.

For the price, this phone is fine. It's no frills, but I don't need them for a backup phone. It does what I need it to do and the phone set up was no issue. However, tracfone set up is a royal pain. I want the same number and leftover minutes from last year moved over. I still don't have the right phone number, right number of minutes/texts for even this year, and I am three very long phone calls into the process. They were to call me back, but that will never happen.

Not much of a phone.Not happy at all.

1 BIG problem, screen is difficult to see outside/sun/car even on the brightest setting making this is an indoor use only phone _/_ It's surprisingly fast and does everything it should should do_/_ I recommend shutting off or uninstalling what you don't use_/_especially shut off wifi calling as it doesn't work unless you have an unlimited plan, and then what's the point?

The stand-by battery life is about the worst I've had from any smart phone in a decade. With minimal or even no usage, the phone drops from 100% in the morning to below 20% by end of day. Speaker quality, camera, etc about as expected.

My ear puds can't to charge full.Only 10%.What can I do?

I bought two - I am using one now - the screen seems faulty - like negative appearance - I will use it for now as a surfer/reader - don't know about the second one - it is still new.

The phone from HSN works well. The con is the 1500 minutes. No satisfaction from Tracfone to calls. No response from HSN to request for a call. I'm stuck Stay away from the 1500 minutes.

received this phone in march. I tried to activate today and was told that this phone is not supported by tracfone.nuts!! verizon is parent company and isn't supporting this version anymore.

Charged it for the first time. When I plugged in the charger it read slow charging, and stated it would take 1 day, and 14 hours to completely charge. Ive never seen anything like that in all the years Ive had tracfone. Phones slow compared to other phones.

1. Slippery, no case included.2. VERY bad: Battery less than one day, have to charge it everyday for over two hours. Bleah
