Ring Security Stick Up Camera Battery Powered with Ring Assist+

Camera does not work as described. HSN promised extended Ring Assist. Total waste; no real assistance. Set up camera 5 days ago. Events record fine during day but stop recording at nite after only one nite. Ring rep blamed where camera was placed, but was in the same place. Then he blamed light interference from other outside lights. Then he changed up said he can't guarantee that they'll work at night with where the camera is placed after sending screenshots showing dis-proving that. Don't buy

Been thinking about getting a Ring for years so this was a great way to get our toe wet. The camera works great inside & out, day&night vision even in frigid temps! Great quality video so you don't miss a thing. It's pretty sensitive to passing cars but you can adjust the range. We also move it indoors sometimes to see what the dog does when we're not home. Between passing cars and all our movement inside, the battery lasts forever; it took about a month before we even needed to charge it.

I was unable to hook up Ring Camera. I was on the phone with the tech support for two hours and still wasnt able to connect. She related maybe it was the camera itself. In the box it went for refund. Still waiting for a refund.

I received a different model than the one shown in the presentation. The one I received has the standard regular base and does not have the adjustable metal base stand shown in the presentation. Also, no instructions are included on how to access the Ring Assist+ bundle (I contacted HSN customer service and they have ordered it). So far, the notifications work on my Ipad, unable to set up on my Android phone yet. It is a nice camera and shows wide-angle video. I am keeping the camera.

The camera is good, but the app is not. Coverage is spotty. The camera shown on TV at the time I ordered had an extended mount, which was the reason I ordered. That was NOT what I received. That is an additional charge and not available on HSN. Not honest HSN. Instructions for mounting were inadequate. Had problems setting it up. HSN says the price for saving videos is $3/month. NOT! It is $3.99. Was given bad info all around. Camera does not work as shown on TV.

I would buy this product again. I am impressed with the quality of picture. However, I gave it 4 stars because it does not automatically notify me immediately if someone comes to the yard. You must ck video yourself. The alarm is loud but it is worthless if you are not notified of intruder right away. I like it because I can move it from inside to outside and it doesn't need installation. Set up was easy and I am not computer savvy. I do feel safer and wish I had bought two.

Because Im familiar with ring I bought this as a Christmas gift. I know they will love and enjoy it.

Will not pick up vehicles driving toward camera. Will only pick up people when they get directly in front of the camera. No prior warning until they are upon you.
