ReadyWise 6 CT Case Trailhead Noodles & Beef

The noodles are good, but the bits of beef are hard as rocks ! I thought after making the first envelope, that maybe it needed more cooking, so I cooked a second envelope 10 minutes longer....exactly the same ! They're like pebbles. I tried to pick them out so I could just eat the noodles, but there are too many of them ! Also, the instructions say this is meant to be eaten out of the pouch....but you can't, because you have poured boiling water into it, and it's too hot to hold !
