These work well, tho not very bright. I only gave it 4 stars because it was REALLY hard to get the lid off of the battery housing.Hint: seat the screwdriver and push VERY hard while turning.

The bulbs are nice and bright. Charge lasts awhile. My complaint is there was a hanging cap for all three bulbs. There's only 1 included. And in order to use them outside of socket, you must have that cap with on/off switch.

Is it OK to charge these in a 3 way socket?, (potomacblue MD)09/23/2023
All of our lamps are three-way or dimming, except bathroom lights. I want to charge these and keep them available if we loose power. How long does the charge last after fully charging? Is it OK to put them in a 3 way lamp to charge? Is it OK to use them in a 3 way socket? They turn on at the second of the 3 clicks.

Over the years I have bought maybe five sets, and given as gifts. This the best gift for people living in places where they have electrical outages be use of the weather. The only thing that would make it better would be if it came with another adapter to turn it off and on.

This is my 2nd purchase of these. my power went out for 2 hours & they stayed lit the whole time without dimming & they are so bright they light up the whole room so I could see without tripping over the dogs or there toys. My only complaint is there should be a cap to turn them on for each bulb for multiple people to use in the house.
