G by Giuliana Butterfly Print Cotton-Blend Flowy Midi Dress

I love love this dress. I love the feel of the fabric and the colors. I wore it with a belt and I looked fabulous.

Bought 3 colors. Washed before wearing on gentle/cold and tumbled on air dry before hanging to finish drying. These dresses are pretty, and have a softly structured hand. The fabric after washing reminds me somewhat of sear sucker material. maybe this is what some other reviews are referring to because I do not think they look wrinkled. Its how the fabric is woven differently in a checkerboard sear sucker fashion. But its not a true sear sucker if that makes sense

I first ordered the black in a Med Reg. It fits fine, but a little snug in the bust (40" in DD), so just ordered the blue in large. I washed the black one on cold, hung to dry, didn't appear to shrink. I had returned an "AS IS" in green, R Med-it was obvious that it had been washed & put in a dryer-very wrinkled & was about 2" smaller overall. The material is different but I found it really holds its shape and all of the colors adapt to several different color/style shoes! Love G!

I LOVE this dress, the fabric is so lightweight, itll be perfect as the temps rise, and I love the little puff shoulder and the easy to push up elastic wrists. Itll look good with either sandals or sneakers. Gonna wear it to death this summer.

When I washed it the fabric reminded me of seer sucker, interesting texture. Didnt need to iron it. I bought the olive, beautiful print. It was very roomy in the skirt part, doesnt have a fitted waist, but it looks great with a wide woven leather belt. Love the pockets, sleeves and neckline.

Such a beautiful print. Disappointed due to tight on bust. Material has no give. Returned

Usually I wear a 2x in G, however, this was a little more fitted than I expected, But it looks great.. and I love the smocking on the sleeves. This would of been fabulous in a light wt knit with the same print on it. that's the only reason I am giving it 4 stars..

How was disappointed with the dress, the top run small and the sleeves run small Ive returned mine and I wasnt extremely happy with the material either

Not really happy with cloth material, upper fits down is huge looking like a sack and color is faded already, if you'll like faded cotton and balloon stiff skirt this is for you.

Love G by Giuliana, but she missed the mark with this dress. The fabric blend is HORRIBLE. Feels rough on the skin and after I washed it shrank a little and the fabric is worst. Will be given to Donation. Giuliana, please use a polyester,cotton blend next time. This is not even closed to linen. Mumsi

The style of the dress is rather unflattering, but the fabric is horrible. Scratchy, does not have any give to it and it shrunk to a few sizes smaller, washed with cold water. Wrinkles easily, the color of the fabric is the only good thing about it. I unfortunately bought 2 of them. They have to be sent back. I would have expected more from Giuliana. So far judging from a coat I unfortunately bought that was a Giuliana clothing line, she is definitely a NO!!!!!

I usually don't write negative reviews unless I feel no one will be happy with a product. This dress has a beautiful print and that is what sold me. But the fabric is terrible. It wrinkles. It is not flowy. It is stiff and scratchy. It reminds me of a burlap sack. It also runs a little large especially on the bottom. I doubt it will happen but I would love to see this print re-done in a softer flowy fabric like mesh knit or chiffon. Such a waste of a beautiful print.

Was really excited about this dress but so disappointed when it arrived. I have 4 of Giuliana's dresses and love them. I thought this was the same material because the pattern was so similar. The material is a stiff cotton broadcloth. Size is off as well. Top fits but skirt of dress is huge. So disappointed. Back it goes.
