Frigidaire 5-Quart Stainless Steel Round Dutch Oven

Great for soups and one pot meals that start on top and finish in the oven. Vented glass lid was just what I wanted as well as the extra thick bottom for even browning and cooking.

This is the perfect pot for Stew, chili, pot roast and more. Just love the self vented lid. Keeps the food at a perfect temperature for several minutes while you make sure everyone has been served.

Loved that this pan was so light. Great for browning meat- it didnt stick at all. Wonderful to have a vented, clear glass lid. The only problem I had was with the design of the lid. When draining the meat, some pieces got stuck on the rim on the inside and needed to use a toothpick to dislodge them.

Upon removing packaging from this dutch oven, was not happy. On outside and along bottom of pot was what appeared to be burnt black grit along the bottom rim as if it had been used. Also unusual smudge marking on outside of pot which was not just a removable type of smudge. I am extremely disappointed with this item.
