Cuisinart 1-Pint Ice Cream Maker

This ice cream machine is great for 1-2 people. The recipes are simple but perfect. I have made the chocolate, vanilla and strawberry flavors several times before doing this review. I have shared with other family members and gotten rave reviews. I had one disappointing batch because I didnt go by the recipe given. Overall this is a great addition to my kitchen for delicious ice cream.

With the 3 page instructions that came in the box, it says to freeze the bowl for at least 24 hours, pre-mix your ingredients and refrigerate overnight and you will have soft-serve ice cream - all true. I made the vanilla recipe that came in that 3 page guide and it worked perfectly in 20 minutes. I tried once to make a batch in the morning and another in the evening and it took about 40 minutes for the second batch. I have made 6 pints so far. GREAT little machine!

This ice cream maker is perfect for one. I have made my second batch, Chocolate Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Swirl. I made it up from the Simple chocolate ice cream.I clean the freezer bowl, put it in the freezer inside a plastic bag, and make sure it is level.I have read a couple complaints. The recipe booklet was not included so I reached out to Cuisinart and they sent a hard copy. This may be resolved. The ice cream freezes on the bowl, just scrape it with a rubber spatula, no problem.

This is a great ice cream maker. I placed my bowl in the freezer for around 3 days, and when I took it out, I made cookies and cream ice cream and it was delicious! After about 20 to 25 minutes I had soft serve ice cream. It was very easy and simple to use. The parts come apart for easy cleaning. I don't understand the bad reviews. I would highly recommend this unit.

This little ice cream maker is awesome. Ive make blackberry ice cream and cantaloupe ice cream. So easy to use and easy to clean. Being able to adjust the sugar and fat is a nice bonus.

I tried this using greek yogurt, whipping cream, choc protein powder, powdered peanut butter and a little milk. My bowl had been in freezer several days. Yum. It turned out great, like soft serve ice cream. Makes just enough for us to share. I'm going to continue experimenting with ingredients, just not adding that 1/4 cup of sugar.

Just got mine havent used it but there is a bar code that you scan to get the recipes watch the video again she says it will have my son do that he has a scanner on his phone he put one on mine but i dont know how to use it lol like it cause I can use soy milk and whatever sugar I want..my son will be the one to use it first

No recipe book!!! Not available as a download either!

I feel like I have followed the instructions to the letter and I'm making milkshakes. I thought the lid moving back and forth was a lock type of thing, but I watched the video and it's rocking back and forth because the ice cream is so thick! Wish I knew what I was doing wrong because I'm wanting to send it back right now.

Recipes are not that great. Followed them to the letter and ice cream came out way to soft and didn't freeze well. I will keep trying but not worth the price.

Each mixture I tried froze on bottom of machine. Had to chip it off or let it melt. Hard as ice. Followed vanilla recipe in machine x2 exactly!Returned machine.

Please note that I also ordered this, and when I received it, there was no recipe manual as stated in the description.. As far as I can see, this seems to be a problem with other purchases as well. Unfortunately, I did not save the box otherwise I would return it. I did call them yesterday. Inquiring about it and they told me to go online and get the receipes .

Missing recipe book. Big disappointment .

I am looking for the 14 recipes that were suppose to come with the machine. There is NO booklet. I am very disappointed

Granted, after keeping the bowl in the freezer and the mixed milk/cream in the refrigerator overnight or longer, the result is very cold with slight slushy bits. It never gets to soft serve consistency. When frozen for a few hours, it gets too hard to scoop.Returned the 3 I bought for Christmas gifts.
