Crafter's Companion Gemini Double-Sided Christmas Die - "Snowflakes"

I love the results that you get from this die. Im not very happy with the double sided plates though. I have used them 3 times and they have deep deep groves in them. I thought they were made out of a self healing material. I think you will have to replace them often. I would still recommend it but just know youll have to replace it often.

I have another double-sided die which is great. Unfortunately, this one, no matter what I do, does not cut through on the front (snowflake) side. Only about 3/4 cut all the way through. After trying four different thicknesses of paper, with and without extra spacers, I have just given up. The background side cuts fine, but its useless if the front doesnt cut.
