Arlo 2K Wireless Essential Gen 2 Security Camera w/Solar Panel

Adam presented this as not requiring a subscription service. WRONG. I wish I had tried to set this up before the 30 day return window or this would be going back. On a fixed income even $12.99 for basic for 2 people is $12.99 too much. I guess it will sit in the box.

When I first got my camera I was thrilled ,loved it. After the time limit they allow on the service it is useless. the camera screen is filled with them wanting you to buy this premium service . You go to the page for support and it's useless . there you are with a blocked screen and a camera that's good for nothing . I Wish I had sent it back. you shouldn't even sell such ,cause you sure can't get any support,

Stopped working after just a week. Wont charge anymore.

solar panel with camera off charges about 1% a hour which is useless, Does not pickup people or movement all the time. set activiity zone and still picks up well outside of it and misses inside zone.only thing good is quality of video.

DO NOT BUY THESE CAMERAS THEY ARE 100% CHINA GARBAGE AS I HAVE ORDER 4 OF THESE AS THEY WHERE ALL BAD 2 OF THEM DEAD THEY DID NOTHING AND THE OTHER 2 NIGHT VISON DID NOT WORK AS THE LIGHT DID NOT WORK AS THE VIDEO WAS VERY DARK DO NOT BUT THERE ARLO HAS GOT VERY BAD THEY HAVE BECOME THE WORST CAMERAS TO BUY AS I NOW HAVE TRASH ALL MY ARLO CAMERAS AS THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS VERY BAD DO NOT DEAL WITH THSES STUPID PEOPLE ARLO HAS GOTTEN VERY BAD

I bought in 2018 a 3pc Arlo battery operated camera system w/base for over $200. I just recently bought the 2nd gen arlo HD solar/USB charge in/out camera for $80. I downloaded the app thinking I could add this camera to my Arlo app that I had. It was fine until I tried to view my existing 3 cameras.You can't have both because of older tech which would be fine except once the old cameras are gone you can't get it back. I spent $90/yr for batteries. Each camera 4 batteries x5yrs. Nice job Arlo!!

Video was very good, motion sensor was good. Bought two and one failed 5 days from start, battery went dead would not charge even on plug in charger. Had to return.

Was not explained about having pay to be able to save images for police if you have a break in. This is no help. There are other carmers that have sd cards to save the information. My Fault for not checking this out. Cost to much to return.
