What’s the Story?

On my third date with my (now) husband, Jon, he invited me to one of the most glamorous Hollywood award shows ever. I was so excited – until I realized that as a single mom trying to make ends meet I could never afford something nice to wear. Hollywood celebrities spend thousands of dollars and countless hours putting together a look that’s “just right.” They also have plenty of help with stylists, hairdressers, make-up artists and personal trainers making sure they always have that special look. What about us girls who don’t have the time or the bank account for that?

Hot in Hollywood was born out of my desire to help the thousands of women like me who want to look glamorous and stylish, but do it affordably. Looking your best does a lot for a girl’s confidence and looking like a million bucks, without spending it is the ultimate!

As Hot in Hollywood celebrates our fifth anniversary here at HSN, I want to thank all of you who have tried our products and loved them. I hope that you take the time to really acknowledge the stars you are. A girl's gotta feel like a star on the inside to look like one on the outside! Or is it the other way around? (wink)

Hot In Hollywood is one of the most exciting lines that HSN carries. I find the styles refreshing and sexy. I live in the DC metro area and have access to many designers, but I'm always glad to see your new releases. Please keep them coming. Dont be afraid to go to the edge. I have a pair of your boots that I can throw on with a plain sweater and pant that turn my outfit from blah to BA DOW! They are also fun to mix with intimate apparel (smile). More hats and accesories, please.

hello,laura,i really enjoyed your show tonight..i love the bling-bling,and the sparkles,on the clothes..this is day-time wear or night-time wear...dress-it-up-or-dress it down...i'm 65,and this is my kind of wear,it's ageless...i get so many compliments on these clothes and dianes clothes...the dg 2 jeans are great...love-love all the clothes..please keep-up the good work...love-love hsn...

I only recently learned of hot in hollywood last year, when my mother became ill and I could not go out to shop so I learned to use the internet. Since then I have bought some of your products ,boots, shoes, jewelry... I would love to become a storybook model. Since my mother became ill last year the only place I go out now, other than the grocery, is dancing. I am a ballroom dancer, I was waltzing when waltzing wasn't cool.(before dancing with the stars). I love to wear your stuff dancing.

HI Laurie! I love your line , and I own a lot of it. I have the adorable rain slicker in red, black and gold. I'd love to see more shoes with 2 inch heels. Most of your shoes are either flats or super high. I'd rather have 2 inches or low kitten heel shoes. I'd also like to see more tunic-type tops around 26 or 27 inches with a spandex type of blend. June 07 was my first purchase from HSN and it was Hot in Hollywood sunglasses. I wore them to a concert and people kept telling me that they liked them. I would love to see more hats. Missed out on the sparkle and shine white cabbie with rhinestones. Bring more hats!

laura,i know that you keep-up with the trends,but could you please come-up with more of the denim high-heels?as i had a pair that had a zipper across the toe and across the heel and i got so many compliments when i wore them but they finally bit the dust and my shoe-cobbler told me to close my eyes,say a prayer and throw them in the trash,but that was sure hard to-do.they were sure comfortable to.but i wore them with so many things,denim skirts,jeans,denim dresses,capri pants,they were a year-ro

Just received my black dress that can be worn in many styles. But I am lost how do I found out how to do them. The card that was attached to the dress is not very informative. I really appreciate you because though you are now living where you can buy whatever you want, you are still very down to earth and humble. Hi Laurie, I've been with you since your 1st airing on HSN & you are my favorite by far. Kudos to you for bringing us on trend quality with a price we can all afford. Please, I am trying to find a short sleeve shrug in white, black, silver and gold. I'm in outside sales in California & can't wear sleeveless. Would love something in a crochet with silver or gold lurex threads that ties under the bust not at the waist. Thanks for everything you do and especially for being your authentic self.
