Fashion Destination: Morocco

Welcome to my first blog on HSN! I’m so excited to be able to interact with you! For those of you who have bought clothes or accessories from my “Miss Tina” line, you’ll know that my motto is “Taste of Couture”. It’s so important to me to bring special details, beautiful fabrics and most of all, a great fit to you through this line that I’ve developed exclusively through HSN.

My June collection was inspired by one of my favorite destinations; Morocco. With safari details mixed with luxurious fabrics and hand-sewn beading, this collection easily transitions from day wear to evening just as easily as the Moroccan culture does itself. I was especially inspired by the colors in mosaics, the hues of their homes and the lush backdrop of nature. My collection has tropical greens, deep sea blues and desert tans all mixed with whites, light blues and light grey for a versatile palette. The clothes themselves have to be just as versatile as the colors, as this girl will be doing everything from a desert safari during the day to exploring ruins and monuments. Her clothes need to be lightweight and airy because of the heat, yet cover her body because of the scorching sun!

Of course this girl is just my inspiration. More important than my inspiration is what you, my customers, want from the Miss Tina line. The most important aspect of all of my collections is to make sure you’re getting what you want from this line. With this collection you’ll find my classics (like my skinny jean and cut-n-sew knit tunic with square studs) as well as a few things new; like the first time I’m showing a bodysuit. This bodysuit has 3/4 length sleeves (for those of you who don’t like to wear your upper arms out) and a modestly scooped neckline with subtle gathering.

If you’ve watched me on air, one of my favorite lines is, “Accentuate the Positives”. This means that you should show your figure, don’t hide it! Try doing this with my beautiful Metallic Cotton Jacket. It’s contoured at the waistline to give the hourglass figure, but still has room in the arms and the bust. If you wear this with a pair of my shantung pants, you’ll have the comfort of lightweight fabric against your skin, while showing off your beautiful figure.

Now, if you’re an accessories girl, you’re going to love this; a matrix of a handbag, a belt and footwear that all match perfectly together. I’m old-fashioned in that I love it when a woman’s handbag matches her shoes,…and better yet, her belt too! That’s why I try so hard every delivery to give you just that; a perfectly matching ensemble. This month’s handbag is a return of an old best seller for me. I’ve used an ombre’d snake material used with patent. The shoes and belt match perfectly back to the bags and are available in Brown or Black. Always remember; the best way to refresh your look is by adding a new accessory or two!
