Beauty Adventures in China

Dear Friends,

As I write this, I'm in China enjoying spending time with family and friends and taking the opportunity to re-introduce my daughter to her heritage and my homeland. I especially love this time of year in China. It reminds me of when I was just a young girl, playing in the fields with my sisters and cooking in the kitchen with my Mother and Grandmother.

Visiting China always brings me back to my roots. Growing up in an herbal community, having an appreciation for nature was engrained in me from a very young age. It's a part of who I am today. It's amazing, really, when you think about what nature has to offer. In China, we've spent centuries studying the beneficial qualities of herbs and how they can be used for beauty and so much more. All of this knowledge has been passed down from one generation of herbalists to another, from teacher to student and mother to daughter. I get so much joy from working with my herbalists to develop new formulas for all of you and I cannot wait to share the wonderful beauty secrets I've discovered during this trip.

In the past I have purchased a face powder, you did not need a foundation with. You could apply it with the sponge damp, or dry. I cannot find it anymore on line. Did you stop making it? I finally found something that I really liked! Can you tell me if you still sell it?

Everyone that I've introduced to your products says that they've been revolutionary in changing and improving the way their skin looks. I couldn't agree more. Your fragrances also get so many compliments because of their fresh light scent, and the fact that I can wear them while working in a hospital. I would love to see a trio of your original three, Healthy Balance, Happy Choice and Gracious Living. I use one of them everyday, and I feel fresh and ready for the day after spraying them on.

I like the new Rice spot treatment, but it is a bit watery and hard to use. Maybe a little thicker formula and a different type of bottle. Wastes too much if you put it on a cotton swab. Too watery to put on with finger.

Hi, Wei! I love your White Lotus line, it's the first I've found that really moisturizes and softens my 60-year-old skin all day and night. I also like to use the Chestnut Firming Cream in the daytime. I hope you'll have a White Lotus TSV kit soon. One problem I've found is with the jars. Especially with the Eye Dreams, the little metallic ring around the jar, as well as some of the printing, comes off on my fingers and I get metallic particles on my face when I apply the cream.

Wei, the Golden Root Eye Serum should be in a bottle with a dispenser. It's difficult and inconvenient to get serum out of a jar. So HSN please have her put the serum in a bottle with dispenser. I hope the next time I order this it's in a bottle.

Hi Wei, I just ordered your white lotus kit and just received it. I am so so disapointed that they are little sizes. I can't believe I paid that kind of money for such small sizes. I am laid-off and wanted a white lotus kit for the winter to last and was shocked to see the small sizes. If I return the kit, then I will have to pay an additonal shipping & handling - I don't have that kind of money, and I don't have the money to buy another kit.

With the use of the China Herbal kit, I see a difference in my skin tone, and the overall apperance of my skin. Hi, Wei, I Love your rice series. Wei, do you think you can combine the Rice series and the Silky skin tone together? To Marideth in Florida - Try the Golden Root eye gel, either by itself or layered with the Chestnut eye cream. I really like the way the skin around my eyes looks with the Golden Root gel, and it generally lasts all day. You should notice a firmer look - not so tired-looking. Anyway, that's my experience. I really love the hand and body PERFECTION. Could you have special of 2 for 1 with an extra large amount? You had a special several months ago with 2 of each product and I bought it. I don't know if this is the place to ask questions, but I just purchased Bright Eyes and White Lotus Eye Dreams. Since both say to use twice a day, can I use them both AM and PM, or do I need to use them separately? If so, what do you suggest? So I decided to purchase the 10 piece Wei East Super Stars Birthday Special Item: 412-356. My question is how do all the products work when they are applied on top of each other 6 times? I would like for the products to work for me but seems like my face is just smothered with cream, even though I use it very sparingling, just a dab I promise.

When did autoship stop notifying before shipment? They used to remind you and ask if you wanted it. Not it is just shipped. I wish I knew this so I could cancel. Now I am returning it because I cannot afford at this time. Please give us some notice.

Dear Wei I'm a 57 year old female going through menopause and having to deal with severe hotflashes. So my skin is sagging, I also have melasma. I use to wear make-up . But with the hotflashes I sweat so much I decided not to wear any to work, Because my make-up would slide off my face.I feel so ashame. My hair has fallen off. My hair is very thin, you can see my scalp. I don't go any where. Just work and back home. I believe in chinese method. They have the most beautiful skin and hair.

Hi Wei, love your products and your blogs. It makes us all feel connected. Been using your products for about 8 - 9 years. Last Sunday went to buy some alcohol and had to show my ID! I said you're kidding right? She said, no ma'am, I need to check your ID. So I gave it to her - 1958, she said - wow you are the same age as I am! She said I thought you were in your early 30's, late 20's but had to be sure. Thank made my day :)

Wei,I have loved your products for 2yrs. I have had 4 surgeries(no cosmetic surgery) in a short period of time.Also a cancer scare.After using your products I noticed a smoothness, evenness to my skin tone. I even look much younger. After my 2nd surgery, I had a 2 month rehab time. Hi Wei, I'm in my 50's and my dad is 85 years old...we both hope you bring back your 16 oz. hand and body lotion and also the 2 pack of the smaller tube so I can stick one in my purse. Yours is the only lotion that softens callus and moisturizes dry, cracking heels! The pump is nice but we prefer the tubes, large and small. I may have to at least try your hand creme in the white tube in the meantime after readying so many reviews of the Lotus style being so great. Keep up the good work, Wei!

Wei I ordered the mother/daughter kit. Everyday/night my daughter lined everything up for us to use per the included instructions. We had so much fun together with great results and no irritation.
