Lady Luck was on my side this past week as I joined over 20,000 jewelry professionals from all over the world in Las Vegas, Nevada for the 18th annual JCK Jewelry Show! The Sands Convention Center was buzzing with jewelry insiders all looking to discover the latest styles, trends, and inspiration the jewelry world has to offer!

Although I didn't have much luck in the casino, I hit the jackpot when it came to discovering gorgeous new jewelry!

One of the key trends at this year's show was the influence of Global design. Exotic, ornate and ethnic influences were everywhere - nothing drab or hum-drum to be seen!

At the Himalayan Gems booth I was blown away by the artistry of some of their newest pieces. Their hand crafted silver pieces and beaded necklaces from Nepal are more beautiful than ever....Here's an example of just one of their new beaded necklace designs coming in November!

Another big trend is Color! There was an explosion of color throughout the show.

For Fall 2009 look for blues, greens, purples, fuchsia, salmon and berry as top color choices in both fashion and jewelry. When I stopped by to visit Sajen Silver I was excited to see some of the most amazing new colorful jewelry by Richard and Marianna Jacobs. The "sky's the limit" for this fabulous design team - and wait until you see the first Sajen Silver Today's Special launching in August! And come to think of it, with the good fortune I had finding so many beautiful things at the show this year - I'm guessing Lady Luck is a jewelry collector, too!

Colleen - My question is regarding your Prestige Jewelry Boxes: you used to make the black ones with a pink interior...will you be doing that again? Loved it more than the black interior, it shows off the jewelry better and is prettier sitting on a dresser. Maybe make it in white with pink interior as well. Love all your shows. Keep bringing us great items like that new emerald necklace!

Last year you did an Christmas Ornament set in a pink box lined in satin.........the ornaments were so very cute. Can you please do another set for this year. Hi Colleen...I've noticed both you and Rachel Huber having difficulty at times speaking. It might be the dust in the air. I have found an ionizer eliminates that problem. You are both such lovely peole, maybe if you try the ionizer (near you while on the air) it will be the solution. My first ionizer came from HSN. Even took one to work as the building I worked in was old - and old buildings produce their own dust. Please pass this on to Rachel. I hope it works for both of you.

I tried to order the flourite necklace from Diana Venezia, but was disappointed that she sells out so fast, placing me on wait list. Her jewelry is exquisite and unique. I LOVE her designs; one is better than the next. I can't wait to see her new jewelry pieces. When will she be on HSN again???

Hello Coleen! Love your prestige jewelry boxes. Prefer the smaller sizes since they are easier for me to store. The new small cuff box is great, holds an assortment of jewelry. Please bring back the gray color, great for the sterling silver jewelry. Also, you had mentioned new style boxes becomming availabe around the holidays, does that mean in December 2009? I am still trying to get your new cuff box in red or gray if you decide to bring the color back.

As you know, your huge gray mabe pearl ring (was Item 466782) that sold out from your 7.18.09 Silver Gallery show is an absolutely fabulous ring. The silverwork is regal and ageless, the pearl yummy. Instantly one of my faves. And, your 10.2 ct. (sky) blue topaz ring (Item 466855) and your clear quartz ring (466788) are also wonderful. Your carved rose quartz bamboo stretch bracelet (485578) is also really nice.

Hi Colleen, Love all of your jewelry and clothes!! Wondering if you were going to be making a rose quartz ring like item #397-173 to match the great rose quartz bracelet item # 397-176? Is it possible? Also I encourage you to keep making bracelets like this one in differnt stones...... they are fantastic. colleen what is the large pearl necklace you sometimes wear. in between each large pearl is a crystal of some sort. they are fabulous and you look great in them. i think you also wear large pearl earrings at the ame time. by the way, your hair and hair color are terrific and your hair is very shiney., what product do you use. love watching you. you are a very classy, genuine person. love watching you even though i do not buy most of the time as my taste in jewelry is on a much smaller scale.

Hi Colleen, I have so many goddess pieces from Richard & Marianna. I have been searching for them on every channel. I have missed them so much. They bring us the most beautiful pieces I have ever seen. I have been trying to replace a goddess ring for a friend who lost hers. It was a beautiful round ,serene goddess face in the color of tigers eye.Please bring it back, it will sell out.All of their goddess' are truly museum quality.I have a huge silver & turqoise goddess cuff that is so amazing.

Colleen, I purchased three of your large Prestige jewelry boxes, one had a ring compartment and a medium compartment and two smaller ones, the other two were just all open. I was wondering when you were going to have them available again? I keep checking and can only find the ring box which will not work for me at all because most of my rings have thick bands. Anyway, I would love a couple more ofthe large open jewelry box. Also, have you ever thought about designing one for earrings?

Dear Colleen - I have fallen in love with and am HOOKED on all of the Prestige Jewelry Boxes but I have the same question many of the other ladies have - is it possible to have ALL TYPES stocked on a regular basis-? I have to wait months before any of these come back and it's never all types. Are ever going to bring back the 2 tier multi wide slot Necklace Box and single layer 28 compartment for small pendants, earrings, etc-? At this rate I'll have my jewelry organized when I'm 100...maybe...

Hi Colleen, Why can't HSN stock your selection of Prestige boxes all of the time? I am so frustrated because they always sell out and if I miss a show I have to wait months or longer to see again. HSN must be losing sales when we all want those boxes. I have 14 and am wanting the big box with no dividers on the interior. Please try to stock them all of the time and in multiple colors. Colleen, I forgot to tell you about the Lanvin glass heart pendant the photo is on the front of the August issue of Glamour. Not July issue. The pendant also comes in an amethyst and also a clear crystal with garnet colored crystals around it. I hope you will be able to see this pendant.Thank you

Colleen, You're a great host. I have a question on the cover of the Glamour magazine, Taylor Swift is wearing a beautiful heart pendant with a bow (ribbon) and an arrow. The designer is Lanvin it is called the Lanvin glass heart pendant. If you google lanvin glass heart pendant it comes from Paris with a hefty price tag. Is it possible for HSN to make a similar necklace for us. Thank you please if you could let me know either way.

Hi Coleen: Can you please ask the Absolute craftsman to check out the gold Technibond is using in their jewelry and use it in theirs?? Some of the pieces are real organgy and fake looking no matter how pretty the stones are the gold is really off and you end up not wearing it and stop purchasing the product even though on TV is looks great when it comes to your home it looks cheap. Thanks:)

Hi Colleen, You are my favorite host. You always make me laugh. I have a request. Could you please make one of your anti-tarnish boxes for rings only. I know you already have one but it doesn't hold rings that are tall. Also could you please make it large enough to hold a lot of rings. Could you please also make it with a black inside so it will really show off the rings. I would like to see it made with a black faux suade covering the outside of the box and a large window to view the rings.

Colleen,I have a request & I hope you can help. It would be great on jewelry shows if the background color were any other color than white! Especially with silver jewelry. Between the lights and the reflection of the silver, some pieces almost disappear when viewing the preview at the start of the show. Also, if the necklace display stands (don't know what they're called) were not white that would help to display these pieces much better.

Love your stuff! I bought the Parisian crystal strawberry necklace, and I really love it. I have much real jewelry, but I get in a good mood whenever I wear that piece of costume! Any plans to bring in anymore of this type of enameled fruit? I don't like the pieces with the watches in them, but I'd love more fun cheery enamel with crystal necklaces -- like a bunch of purple grapes with a crystal dewdrop on each grape or pretty plump raspberry with pink/fuscia crystals.
