Diane Goes Hollywood: Vegas Edition

In November 2007 a collaborative line debuted on HSN which was inspired by my friendship with the ever fabulous and fashionable Diane Gilman. Eight months later and now on our fourth show, Diane Goes Hollywood took us to Vegas: the capital of glitz and glamour! Vegas is well-known as a popular celebrity playground but it's also a place anyone can escape to in order to feel like absolute royalty, even if it's just for a weekend (your most glamorous attire is required!). For that reason, and so many more, Diane and I knew we had to bring you our favorite Vegas inspired looks for your poolside lounging or summer cocktail party…whether you're in Vegas or just in a Vegas mood!

To jump start our creative juices, Diane and I traveled to Vegas together for a girl's trip. As we pulled up to the "Welcome to Vegas" sign, the backdrop of lights illuminated the desert skyline. We weren't sure what our trip would entail, but we knew we were guaranteed a fantastic time! After checking into our hotel, we got ready together for our night on the town, and for once it was so easy picking an outfit to wear! After puffing our hair, glam-ing our makeup (also requirements in Vegas) and decked in our DGH Vegas attire, we were ready for anything the night had to offer! We wandered up and down the strip, running into tourists on family vacations and blissful wedding parties. We watched the Bellagio fountain show (an absolute must!) after having a margarita or two at a restaurant along the way (another absolute must!!). But whether we were just strolling through a casino, dining at a fabulous restaurant, or just taking in the sights, the best part of our trip was the company…and our DGH apparel and accessories, of course! Now we hope to bring that fun-loving Vegas experience to you wherever you are with our new DGH Vegas inspired, everyday fabulous looks.

Laurie, I saw one of Diane's tops on a preview of the new show THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA. It is the one with the tourquoise and woven leather on the front. Thought she would want to know. Need her top with the tooled leather!! Love the creativity!!

Hi Laurie, I have loved the HIH fashion pieces that I have purchased. I have run into a problem that seems to be the same one for many. I purchased the boots with the black and white sleeves. I also purchased the red and black brocade bag, all of wich I like very much. My problem is, I also tried to purchase the brocade sleeves and I keep receiving the vintage pair. This does not make me a very happy camper!!! If there is anyway you can assist and correct this error, I would love it.

Please bring back the cabby hats. I got the jacket and boots but missed the cabby hat. Also are you going to come out with just the boot jackets.Would love to see some for blue jeans also plain colors .

I love your HH line , I just received the Ankle boot sleeves and am disappointed because I ordered the Brocade and was sent the vintage and you are sold out! Hope you bring these back not sure if i will keep the vintage it doesnt really go with anything,HSN has been the perfect place to shop until recently , this is the second time I have problems with an order.

Hi Laurie, Before HSN I had NO style at all. My Mom was a Model for Vogue and Ben Shaw and it wasn't very easy being the daughter of such a stylish and classy lady. But now, I'm 43 yrs old and with the help of your line, my Mom actually shows me off to her friends now! Can you even believe it! I never in my wildest dreams thought that could ever happen. Thank you So Much for bringing Style and Class into my life.

Hi Laurie! I REALLY, REALLY hope that you bring the cabby hats back soon! As I was placing my order and picked the hat to go with the plaid fall coat, the darn hat was sold out!!! Please bring them back because I have to have the matching hat to go with the coat. I REALLY admire & appreicate your line. THANK GOD FOR YOU!!!

please-please pick-me to model some of your fashions...i have the dg2 jeans and also the hot-in-hollywood-fashions-high-heels-boots...i get so-many compliments..i dress for-myself,and everyone loves it...i'm 65-and everyone thinks i'm younger...i love the dg2 las vegas jeans...i love the bling-bling...

I can't wait to receive your red plaid coat. It is so beautiful. I can't wear heels because I am a 3x. Can you please, please, please make a spat like boot or shoe that is flat. I would have bought the today's special but it had heels. The 50's look is so in now. I bought a black and white herringbone reversible to black coat from a very upscale department store which cost a lot more than yours. You have great prices. Thank you.

I think Hot in Hollywood is great! Designer looks for less but still keeping the quality you would expect from top designers! Would also love to be a storybook model - where do I sign up? Kudos to the Vegas line!
