| I liked the bamboo and colors of accents. Bend the accents that come with frame in half and zigzag-stitch to the side of frame so they look like labels. Add the frame to the photo, and place a flower on upper left-hand corner. For the backround, crumple cardstock and then flatten it and add some ink. Journaling is written around the outside edges, starting in one corner and going around. |

The shades of blue on the girls’ sweatshirts combined with the green grass in the background inspired this page. I used papers that would appeal to teen girls.

Typical of an ephemera scrapbook page, I used many different materials to achieve an eclectic look.

Barn paper perfectly captured the ranch feeling of this page. Using brown ink around the photo mats, and journaling to create a distressed feel, I got the look I wanted without it being too “country.”

Instead of using a typical beach paper for these photos, I used vintage postcard paper. The paper had the same color as the sand, and also, postcards suggest vacation. I added seashell cutouts in white slide mounts as my beach-inspired embellishment.

Blue and lime green summer colors inspired me to design this page. Instead of using water paper, I used half some blue textured paper and glued it over a lime sheet. I carried the blue theme to the lime side of the page by covering the slide mount with some of the paper. Adding black ink around the slide mount edges and black stitches helps to highlight the black lettering on the vellum strip.

The vibrant-colored snow clothes really pop on this blue tone-on-tone album page. I kept the color scheme simple so it didn’t compete with the photos.

| We were invited to teach at scrapbook conventions in Johannesburg, South Africa. That’s where we took these wonderful photos of beautiful scenery, friendly smiles and our adventure of a lifetime. Denim & Daisy Glimpses | |

With two small kids at home, it had been years since my husband and I took a vacation with just each other. These photos were taken in South Africa, while on a teaching trip.

These photos were all the inspiration I needed to show my father's youth and innocence in the first few months of the war. I selected clock-themed paper from More Ephemera Papers because the clocks suggested the past, and the color matched old sepia toned photos.

Colors in the travel punch-outs inspired this whimsical bon voyage card. Using brown for the background, I needed another color to block a section so the punch-outs would really show up. I drew “nail head” dots on the blue block and outlined the brown wit

The inspiration for this family vacation page came from the stone wall in the background, the old luggage cart and the charm of the turn-of-the-century train station. The weathered wood and burlap paper from More Ephemera Papers instantly provided the texture and theme needed to evoke the warm feeling of our trip. More Ephemera for Scrapbooking

To get this look: 1. Cut the brown & black leather and strip in half vertically. Cut 2 strips of black 1" x 12". Glue the strip and the leather together with the black strip in the middle so a 1/2" shows. Then cut two 2" x 12" pieces of brown and two strips of black 1/2" x 12". Glue the black strip to the brown strip so a 1/8" shows then glue the strips to the bottom of the pages. 2. Cut out the letters & accents for the title. 3. Crop & mat the photos. For the 2 larger outer photos mat on tan and trim closely. Now mat on brown trim and closely. For smaller photos mat on black and trim. 4. Arrange as shown and glue in place. Use foam tape to glue the letters & accents

These photos remind me of a great vacation with friends. The colors in the papers are reminiscent of sand & water. The letters were perfect to string on a piece of fiber for my title. The other buttons give the page a colorful beachy feel. Vacation Themed Embellishment Craft Kit
