They seem to work. My kids enjoy them. They do not get stuck. My kids don't use them hard, so I can't give you a first hand account of durability.

What a fabulous, fun toy. I bought these for my nephew and he loves them. I must say that I have loads of fun playing with these cars myself!!

These work really well as long as you're very close to them...if they get a little away from you then the remote doesn't work. I ended up giving them away because my 2 grandsons got too frustrated with them.

Had to send them back b/c one was defective. Cant buy two sets and use them at the same time b/c they run on the same frequencies. Batteries run out fast as well.
