I want to thank all of our Serious Skin Care customers for helping to make 2008 such a wonderful experience – it was a very busy year full of new skin care innovations to keep your skin looking and feeling terrific.

We had an incredible Holiday season, which started with the annual Serious Holiday Beauty Bash. November’s event was a huge success! You showed your enthusiasm for our offerings and made our year-end event the best ever. Congratulations to all of you who were able to get our Today’s Special – The Beauty Book III. Let me take a moment to address several of the general posts that were made on the November/December blog:

Jennifer from New York – I am so happy that you have decided to plan for a family. Regarding the use of skin care products while pregnant, I suggest taking your products in with you during your next appointment with your Physician to review the products and use. This will give you the peace of mind you need.

Phyllis from Texas – Thanks for your post. I am sure you are frustrated at dealing with 16 years of periodic breakouts. I suggest that you tune in on Thursday, January 15 and watch our presentation of the Today’s Special, the DOUBLE THE FIGHT Kit. The products featured in that offering are perfectly suited for those with periodic acne breakouts to more frequent occurrences of problematic skin.

Kate from Virginia – You wrote asking what was the best products from Serious Skin Care for those in their 20’s and 30’s. Based on what you have told me, I would suggest our A-Nano line. Our A-line has always been targeted for the first appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. However, you really need to assess the individual needs of your own skin. If you sometimes have breakouts, you will need some tools from our Continuously Clear line; if you have periodic bouts with dry skin, you may need something from our Olive Oil line to augment your regimen. I suggest you try to watch more of our presentations on HSN to learn more about the complete brand and make your decisions.

Jennifer: Are you going to have a faux tan coming out soon? I have tried so many of them and it seems like nothing works. I'm very faired skin and it's really hard to have a tan that looks real let alone tan at all. Please think about it if it's not in the works already. Thanks!!!

Jennifer, I have used Serious for 10 years plus. But I miss the Glycolic products. They were my primer for the day under my foundation and then of course would use a moisturizer at night. I never had a break out but now I have to be careful as I dont know just what might be too oily. Please bring them back :)

Jennifer... I love the C appeal system that I got in my last surprise box! Skin feels & looks great afterwards! BUT......last night I accidentally bumped the 'ACTIVATE' and spilled most of it. Now I don't have enough left to finish using my system! How can I gey more 'activate' to finish using up my peel kit? Hello Jennifer, I love your Glycolic and Continuously Clear lines. PLEASE bring more kits to HSN because these products are VERY expensive sold separately. Also, it seems as if some of the Glycolic products, such as the Renewal Gel, are not available at HSN anymore. Will you be bringing items back? I tried the hydgo-pixal, WOW, love it. A-nano line fantastic. Would it be possible to extend the scent-free line of olive oil. My co-workers love the line just not the smell. I give you ten stars. I have used Serious Skin Care for over 12 years now. I started my daughter who had adult acne and she has used the Cotinuously Clear cleanser, dry-lo, acne cream ever since. I am 59 and alternate using Olive Oil products, Calstrum & Vitamin C products. My favorite is the Ice Age. For those of you who don't know what to start on, check the products that coincide with your ages. Remember you can return them if they don't work - but they will!

Hi Jenn, I use the Glycolic line which has done wonders for my skin. Also added the Replicate & Renew. Please put together a lg. kit for us that use this line. I have to order everything seperate it seems. Gly 3, Gly cleaner, youth serum, renewal gel and maybe throw in the acne treatment pen & glucosamine eye cream in larger sizes. Please bring in larger sizes so it will last more than 3-4 wks. Can't wait to see what your next visit brings. Thank you!

Hello Jennifer, I have been using your products for almost 4 years now and I love them. I use the C products and incorporate many others. I have one son with sensitive skin and one son with acne. When you do the next show on HSN could you please do a big kit with glucosamine cleanser, Vitamin C cleanser and dry-lo. We also love vitamin C serums, the olive oil balm stick, olive oil body oil, shampoos and conditioners. I would love to see a big kit with everything for the whole family.

Jennifer, I love the new Replicate & Renew it is a great addition to my regime. It has been very effective from the first use. The packaging is quite lovely for the dresser, but it isn't practical for travel. Please consider putting it in a tube and/or offer the choice of packaging. I have been using SSC since you launched A-Tox and it is the only skin care line I use (I don't have one other product taking up space unused in my bathroom).

Hi, I am Carol from NJ. My dermatologist subsribed Retin-A-MICRO (.01%). I was wondering from the serious skin care line what you would offer instead of this? I am breaking out in these small waxy bumps all over my face. She said the only sure treatment would to have them removed but it could leave scarring. That is not an option for me. Could you recommend something from you line instead? I currently use the Continuously Clear line. Thank You

Dear Jennifer, I am a woman over 50 and have never liked a skin care line as much as yours. However, why did you change the formulation of Calstrum moisturizer? It had such a light, clean smell. IT WILL REMOVE ANY LOOSE HAIR & DIRT FROM THE BRUSH! ALSO, THE BRUSH WILL BE SOFTER & WILL PICK UP MORE OF THE BELLA-ROSE POWDER. I LIKE THE SMELL OF THE ROSE IT IS NOT OVERPOWERING. Hi Jennifer.... received the todays special ... love the super food gel and night works night cream... I did what you said you do I use the night cream during the day when I looked tired from not sleeping or being stressed, really makes a difference.. I even got my mom hooked too! I have rosacea especially on my nose & cheeks and have bben using the hydrapixel which I like but is there anything else I can do ... have any tips.. thanks Donna

Jennifer- I bought the Night and Day Round the Clock Regimen in January and a few of the products made turn red because I have ULTRA SENSITIVE SKIN. I loved the Glowbrasion, The Nocturnal Restoration Cream and the A-Cream XR Nanoencapsulated Retinol SPF 30 Cream. I am soooooo happy to see they are now being sold outside of the kit. I can buy them when I need them without having to buy the kit. Thank you so much. This was my first Serious Skin Care purchase, but it won't be my last.

A suggestion to Minita w/ Melasma. i was having the same problem for years, tried all sorts of lightening creams by high end brands and Dermatologists. I tried the C kit w/ the pink train case, and after 3 weeks the brown splotches were gone. Now I have my freckles and a few acne scars, but over time those are lightening up also. Maybe it will work for you also. Good luck.

I have NEVER commented in a blog before, but I am just so thrilled with how my skin looks. I got the Olive Oil TS in the Fall, fell in love with it! I bought the AM/PM TS in Jan. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and my skin looks unbelievable. Thankfully, I purchased both on autoship. At age 55 I can go without makeup & my skin looks fantastic. With olive oil wash/cream I add a bit of my fav. perfume and LOVE IT! Better than frag. in product!

Jennifer, I just wanted to truely say thank you for the products you offer. They have absolutely changed how I feel about myself=).I am 36 & started using your C kit w/ pink case right after thanx giving, and it has changed everything I hated about my skin. I have very few fine lines, but had huge dark areas on my face that I couldn't cover w/out a ton of mineral makeup. It is all gone, & now I use 1 coat of min. mk-up, and can go w/ just Hydra Pixil if I want. The CC TS has changed my sons skin

Hi Jennifer! I have so many of your products and I love them all. I never thought I would stop using liquid foundation. My skin is so much healthier and glowier and clear! I just realized that my FAVORITE loose mineral blush is apparently gone!! It's the Winter Blush. I thought I had an extra one, but sadly I do not. I have about 3 or 4 other blushes, but they to me are nothing like the winter blush. I love the sparkle! Can you PLEASE bring it back? Or at least one with sparkle? Thanks!

A Special Kit request. More basic kits with different products and not so many bonuses that really aren't necessary. Example: Glycolic cleanser, glucosamine eye cream, A-cream with SPF. A-Wash, Super Mel C eye cream, C day cream with SPF. In a nutshell, more variety from various product lines in basic regimens that are affordable and give us an opportunity to try different combinations of product. Thanks

Jennifer, I just received the Hydro-Pix. I was wondering if you are considering adding sun protection to this product. Also, is this product considered a make up and/or a day cream? Please would you consider offering your original 5-piece acne kit again? Particularly, the glycolic cleanser, glycolic renewal gel, and super hyrate worked well for me. It seems many customers from years ago miss this kit. I, too, have used the continuously clear line but with only fair results. Again, if you would consider offering these original products together, instead of having to buy them separately, it would be much more economical (not having to pay individual S&H). Thanks.

I love hydrapixel and tried to call in Sunday about it- this stuff is MAGIC! It's the best of your classic tinted moisturizer (which is near impossible to find in medium these days!!) - and my favorite primer (Reverse Lift HD!!) . Hi Jennifer! I have used SSC products for 10+ years now, and wouldn't be without them! I thought you used to have a Vitamin E line. The face cream was absolutely wonderful & I would love to see it come back! I can't seem to find the facial scrub I used to use either. One thing that I don't see often is your Whipped Body Cream. I use it all the time & absolutely love it! I think the milk bottle shape is ingenious and you would sell a ton of them if you would put them on an upcoming show.

I purchased the Ice Age and the smell was just awful. I also used it around my eyes because you said that it was good for dark circles. When I went to work I just happend to look in the rear view mirror in my car, and there was a golden film with a slight glitter. I went to the ladies room to remove it. The new Replicate & Renew has an artifical apple smell and I broke out too. Both products are being returned.

Sorry Jennifer, the PM part of last month's kit was not a hit with me. The scrub was too fine for my large pores and became imbedded in them. I had to have a professional facial to steam them out without damaging my skin. The food gel and night cream smelled so awful, I couldn't take it. I know we are trying to go green, but this smelled like fertilizer. I will continue with my regular SSC firming products and treatments and cleansers, but this was a bust for me.

I am 33, of German/English/Scandinavian descent, and so have very fair, freckled skin. It can be sensitive at times, so I cannot use the A-line. I LOVE the glucosamine line; please feature it on-air! As we know, the NUMBER ONE thing we can do TO PREVENT SKIN DAMAGE is wear SUNSCREEN DAILY. I finally got to try the HydraPixel and oh, my! I love it! It's great on it's own. Smooths out the complexion and helps to make the pores smaller. Evens skin tone. So light and fluffy. Also is great as a primer under my Prominerals foundation. This new product is a winner. Also, my other new favorite is the Plant Stem Cell Cream. I could use a VAT of that to slather and smear all over my whole body! Thanks for giving us options, and products that are affordable.

I got TS yesterday. The kit is fabulous. I use Glowbrasion very light hand and follow with Gelee. Gelee-texture is very good and smooth my face. Nightworks is so good and make me sleep easily. When I wake up in the morning, my face is very glow and radient. 3 products really work together as Jennifer said. I'm very satisfy but I'm ignore the smell if the quality is supurb like this. Dear Jennifer.. Great show as always..Thank you for putting out a lash booster.I recieved it in my BEauty Book from December and I love it. My only concern is with your customer service. I love the C line, so when you have one of your great kits I always stock up. Well a few months ago I opened the c eye serum and the pump did not work. So I called and was told that there was nothing they could do since it was over the 30 days. I wasn't asking for a refund I just wanted a new one. Help!!!

Jennifer, All your products are wondeful and do what you say they will do. My daughter and grandaughter were using the proactive products selling on qvc. They worked for a while, then my daughter finally started using the Continuously Clear products I had given her. She said they workde better and they both have perfectly clear skin. I really miss and NEED the CLASSIC Tinted Moisturizer in Medium -- it was the perfect makeup for me. I always enjoy watching your shows & when the Beauty Book III was offered as the TS, I purchased 2, 1 for myself, 1 for my best friend as a Christmas Gift. Both of our kits were missing product in the jars. We liked the Replicate & Renew and Skin Cell Super food, but there was not much in the containers. We liked the HydraPixel very much, however, the smell was just unbearable. I hope that you will offer these 3 products together again, but with an improvement in the smell of the HydraPixel.

Hi Jennifer, I am a big fan. I am 45 years old, and I had severe skin discoloration (sun damage on my skin) beginning 32 years old. Now, the skin discolorations have virtually disappears (thans to SSC) and I receive many compliments on my skin. I use just about all of your products. It is easy to clear the gun for a fine mist of application. Just place a finger over the air exit of the air gun under water. This can also be done with a jar on the gun. Test spray on a skin area or a tissue before the final face application. I am impressed with the foundation's & skin primer's quality also. Thank you.
