| | | Baked Caramel Apples ) Serving Size: 6 apples Ingredients 6 apples 1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter 1 jar Somersize Pear Cinnamon Caramel Sauce 1 cup water About ½ cup heavy cream Directions - Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use convection if available.
- Wash and core the apples. Place side by side in a casserole dish.
- Insert about 1 tablespoon butter into the cavity of each apple. Distribute the remaining butter on the bottom of the casserole dish.
- Fill the rest of the of the apple cavities with Somersize Pear Cinnamon Caramel Sauce. Add 1 cup of water to the bottom of the casserole dish.
- Bake for about 1 hour, until apples are golden brown and wrinkly.
- Remove casserole from oven and preheat the broiler. Drizzle more warm caramel sauce onto the tops of each apple.
- Place back into the oven, under the broiler for about 3 minutes, or until the tops are slightly blackened.
- Place each apple into a serving bowl with some of the pan juices.
- Drizzle 1-2 tablespoons heavy cream over each apple. Add another drizzle of warm caramel sauce, as desired.
- Serve warm.
