Todd English grew up in an Italian family passionate about ingredient-driven food and always knew he wanted to be a chef, even when being a chef wasn’t cool.
After graduating with honors from the Culinary Institute of America, Todd English furthered his studies in Europe, first in France, then Italy. In 1991, he was named National Rising Star by the James Beard Foundation and has received numerous accolades and awards for his culinary expertise since.
Todd has furthered his influence in the food industry as a restaurateur with Olives locations in NYC, Boston, and Las Vegas; Beso in Los Angeles; Tuscany in Connecticut; Kingfish Hall and Bonfire in Boston; Figs in Boston and Florida; and BlueZoo and da Campo Osteria in Florida. He has also authored the critically acclaimed The Olives Table, The Figs Table and The Olives Dessert Table cookbooks.
