Steiner Sports Doc Gooden Signed Yankees No Hitter 16" x 20" Photograph
Dwight Gooden, known to Mets fans as Doc or Dr. K., epitomized the 'gotta believe' Mets in the mid-80s. Throughout his career, Doc was a fearless pitcher who helped lead the Mets to a World Series in 1986. He finished his career for the crosstown rival Yankees with a .634 winning percentage and 2293 strikeouts to his credit. 1996 was a magical season for the Yankees and for Gooden. He pitched a no-hitter against the Mariners on May 14 that year.
