Wedding days are not typically filled with quiet moments of reflection. However, we captured on of the few peaceful moments of the day in this photo. “Posing” aside, it was relaxing to stand and be quiet for this short period of time, and reflect on the new beginning of my life as a wife.

My sisters are my best friends. We may not have felt that way grow up, but we realize now what a special gift our sisterhood is. It was great to capture our joy in this photo.

Happy 56th birthday! It's not necessary to use “birthday” paper to create a birthday theme. For this page, I wanted to showcase my father-in-law's personality and interests. I used the colors blue and brown because they happen to be his favorites, and they are also found in the photo.

The color theme for this birthday page was taken directly from the photos: the green in Lauren's dress and the pink on her cake and dollhouse. The fun punch-outs and hand-printed border make this quick page just right.

I chose a blanket paper to get a warm and cozy feeling. I love the definitions paper to describe all of the wonderful things about babies. The baby letters are so fun & hip -- you can even use string, wire, or fibers to hang them. The safety pin really brought the whole look and feel together. I inked the edges to tie in the ribbon and the black & white photo. The buttons add a little sweetness to the overall layout.

I used papers from the Summer collection for this page. The blues and oranges matched perfectly with the colors in the main and smaller pictures. I used the floral blue paper in the background and mixed the dotted and striped papers throughout. A matching zipperz was used as the right and left border to balance the page, and also to frame the smaller photos.

How do you explain war to a two-year-old? After September 11th, our family experienced the turmoil that comes when a loved one leaves for the war. For this page, I wanted to capture those emotional hardships. From Sarabooks™ Friendship Words and Quotes, I mixed single words that inspire emotion in addition to my journaling.

This Mickey Mouse paper had the theme I wanted to use for this colorful photo, but didn’t include the color blue, which is mandatory for a July 4th page. I resolved this problem with a red, white and blue striped border to cover the black belt that was originally on the page. Then I used red and blue cardstock mat for my photo and journaling.

I love that this picture shows my daughter’s fresh face and innocence. Her dress matches the flower paper used as the background. The flower print on the scrapbook paper was the inspiration for the matching flower design I drew to accent the page.

Here I captured a milestone event -- my mother-in-law's 60th birthday party. Her children planned this party at a nearby restaurant in Trenton, NJ. Many family and friends got together to celebrate. She was very touched that everyone came and also surprised that everyone kept the secret from her! The embellishments accent the page beautifully with a little femininity.

| I love this picture of my wedding dress; the details are so vivid. I used Scrapbook Wizard premade pages, so this layout took me a total of two minutes to finish. I added ribbon for a soft finishing touch. | |

| Gabriel, Jared and Miquelle had tons of fun in the park on Easter Sunday. They looked so cute dressed up. With these adorable photos, the page just seemed to fall into place. As a final touch, the ribbon really brought the page together. | |
