Not at all impressed!!! I ordered the Mocha. It looks and feel cheap. The bottom of the bag is cardboard, and you can tell how it has started bending and cracking. Not worth the price. It's not better than what you could find in Marshalls.

I am not your typical woman with a closet full of accessories...especially bags. I've never been one to think an expensive bag establishes my style, worth or status. Still don't. But I honestly - honestly - was impressed with the quality of this bag. I haven't carried it yet, and it's new, so I don't know how it will travel or wear...but straight out of the package, I loved it! Wish I had caught a sale...but don't regret the buy.

My Fabulous Barr & Barr Tote!... mollyjones, CA Rating 2/15/2012
I love this tote so much I even gave it a name, Marlowe Bastien is my "go to bag"! It ticks off all the boxes to work, shopping, day to day, evening, casual, even business attire events. I got it in Cognac and the color choice was perfect. The inside of the bag is bright and lovely, easy to see everything! And speaking of everything, there is a spot for everything. The idea of changing the straps suits me beautifully. This is a proper tote. Helen Barr you're genius!

I was so excited to get this bag after seeing it on tv, however, when I got it I was very disappointed. It was very cheap looking to me and so heavy without anything in it, I can only imagine how heavy it would have been with all my things in it. Back it went.
