I bought this as a TS. IT is fabulous. I like that itis light weight and is easy to move from the cabinet to the counter. Cooks evenly and is super easy to clean up. Just great!

I too have used this almost everyday since I received it as a TS and I love it! It heats up fast and hot and everything comes out great and the clean up is so easy. I was so surprised to read all the problems that others are having, and I wish HSN had a policy of letting us return things beyond the 30 grace period because now I worry that something may happen down the road, but mine so far has been a blessing to have and I really enjoy it!
How to attach the top plate! It DOES work!

My top plate would not stay attached. I saw that the metal hooking device on the machine didn't reach far enough up. I grabbed some pliers and bent the square-shaped hook that holds the plate onto the grill (it attaches to the BACK of the plate where you can see a screw and metal piece that connects with the square-shaped hook that holds and releases the upper plate). After I bent the hook further, the plate stays attached just fine. Design and/or manufacturing defect.

My husband purchased this as a Todays Special and wanted me to save it until Mothers Day. Well after reading the reviews about the plates falling, I opened it early. I had no problems with any falling plates and it grilled so perfect. First I did a Ham & Cheese Panini and then I grilled a Three Cheese Panini. They didn't take long to grill and it was very tasteful. Also looked like I purchased the Paninis from a restaurant. This is my second WP product and I am truly satisfied.

I will NEVER buy another WP product again. There is something to say for higher-priced appliances (such as Cuisinart). Ultimately, you get what you pay for. I purchased this grill, and because there is no temperature control, my food burned over and over. After the 5th attempt to use this rediculous appliance, I gave up and shipped it back to HSN.

I hesitated buying because of the negative reviews, but decided to try the TS and love this grill. I've had no trouble with the top plate..I suppose there could be some 'lemons' but I didn't get one. Husband said the pork chops I made were the best he ever tasted.

I really like this grill the only reason I didn't put excellent on the rating is, because I believe it could only add one more thing to it a off and on switch so you don't have to unplug it.. I bought this as gift for my husband who love burger and pork chops, he has been trying to lost weight and this help becuase the fat doesn't leave grease on the food

I have become a panini fool! I've had it for 2 weeks and have used it probably 20 times already! French toast, patty melts, italian beef, ham and cheese, deserts, and even egg, bacon and cheese breakfast sandwiches - you name it and I have made it. With the teflon finish, you do not need to butter the bread first. I have had no problems with plates coming off, but you have to put them on correctly and hear the 'click'. I wish I had bought this years ago.

Purchased as a T.S.Its wonderfull. Cooks great and evenly, heats up quickly, easy to clean, spacesaver, perfect for a quick meals. Havnt had a single problem with the top plate falling off. I read the instructions and it is cleary illustrated how to reinsert them.I highly recommend this product as I have owned the G.F. and this way surpasses it in every way. Don't let the negative reviews change your mind. Just read the instructions, which many people don't take the time to do. Enjoy.

I love my panini grill! I have used it numerous times..sandwiches, hamburgers, chicken breasts, steaks, bacon...all have come out perfectly! Word of warning, it cooks faster than the stove, so don't walk away. Your meal will be done before you know it. I'm sorry the others have had problems; they are just isolated incidents.
