Worked great the first time... / , NV   1/25/2008
Love all of Wolfgang's products up to this one..... Worked perfectly the first time. No problem so far with the plates falling out, pushing the buttons used to take them off while putting them IN seems to help, just make sure they are locked before plugging in. But the bread is indeed getting burned! Highly recommend Wolfgang's products and give them as gifts all the time, just not this one.

Have had mine about 6 months now. No problems-works great for everything. And as someone else said, the only way I cook bacon now. Put the slices in when it's cold, plug it in, and about five minutes later, perfect bacon! Thanks HSN

Yep, it burns the bread / , VA   1/4/2008
I looked forward to receiving my Panini Maker, should have read the review first. It does burn the Panini bread and any kind of bread before it melts the cheese. I have tired it with all kinds and thickness and thin breads. Good idea wolfgang...bad product.

This is a terrific grill. An excellent machine for the occasional weekly use at home. The first item I grilled was boneless, skinless chicken breasts for home-made chicken ceasar salad. Incredibly easy and very good! The chicken was perfectly cooked and stayed moist. Grilled cheese sandwiches are perfect! The plates are easily removed and cleaned with warm soapy water. I highly recommend this item... you will not be disappointed.

I bought mine without ever reading a review. I'm so glad I did as there were alot of negative remarks and I would have never ordered it . The first time I used it I couldnt believe how good a simple tuna and cheese sandwich could taste. The sky is the limit with all the things this panini can do . Thank you Wolfgang for once again comming up with a great product.

Just got mine, so cooking results are still to be judged. Sure not an Iron Chef tool. I was surprised to see an electrical unit with so much plastic. Packaging (from China) wasn't the best either, and no information on the unit. I even got a booklet with my knife set, but nothing with this unit..Very disappointed

I have used the "other" famous grill for a year. My first use of the Wolfgan Panini Duet was more than I expected. I would give this product 6 stars, if I could.

I have had this for several months and use it quiet frequently. Great for sandwiches and also chicken, fish, & steaks. This is the only way I prepare my bacon. I am buying one for my daughter-in-laws for Christmas.

PLENTIFUL POWERFUL PETITE PANINI MAKER / , NY   12/1/2007
We virtually use this every single day in my home and cannot get over the ease of use. Thanks to all the reviews I was forewarned when the top plate wouldn't catch properly. I'm sure most of you were making the same boo-boo that we persisted with which was simply snapping top plate on instead of holding down the button, sliding the plate in and then releasing the button to make sure the plate catches. A 2 second fix and we were panini-ing our way again!

I have had this for over a month and I use it almost everyday, sometimes twice a day. I use this for making french toast, grilled cheese, quesadillas, veggie burgers and the list goes on. It grills and toasts everything to perfection without the use of any butter. Nothing sticks to the grill plates and the fact that they remove makes clean up really easy. I have not had any trouble with the grill plates, they pop out and in with ease.
