I really love this grill and have no trouble with the plates falling off. Have cooked steaks, burgers and hot dogs and they all are great!!! Thanks again Wolfgang!!!

What are u guy's doing by endorsing these HORRIBLE PRODUCTS From WOLFGANG... I bought the original panini maker couple of Years ago and that was the WORST PRODUCT i ever purchase!!! I thought u would have fix the problem by now but to my surprise You are just find with endorsing JUNK CHEAP PRODUCTS never again Will u fool me AGAIN!!!!

I was so disappointed in this grill...the top grill plate would NOT stay in so I had HSN send me a replacement....the replacement grill was also defective....(I can read directions, what an insult to think we are not putting the grill plate in correctly!)....the top grill plate on the 2nd grill will NOT stay in....what a total disappointment as I was looking so forward to having this grill. It's going back TODAY!!

Purchased as a today's special and was excited to get it. I used it 3 times and each time the top plate fell off during use. It's not that we are not reading the directions, it's poor engineering. When the machine heats up, all the parts expand or contract due to the heat and the latches/hinges don't work. Very poor product. Quickly returned the product...there is a reason why other true "panini machines" are around $100+.....

I was worried when I read many of the reviews before I received my Panini maker, however after getting it and reading the instructions and useing it I love it!! I did not have the difficulties that some of your customers complained about, such as the plates falling off. I don't think that they are reading directions and possibly are not putting them in correctly. Love this product.

I absolutely adore this grill! It's perfect for 1-2 people, and clean-up is ridiculously fast (and looks so much more stylish than the george foreman grills, too). I've used every day -- made everything from stuffed french toast (recipe included in the owner's manual) to steaks to grilled veggies & sweet potatoes to (who'd have guessed) paninis. It's a FANTASTIC gizmo for any person who enjoys tasty, home-cooked food but is pressed for time. I LOVE IT! Thank you, Wolfgang!
Cheap not worth the money!!

I haven't bought anything so cheap in my life, too bad a world known chef would lower his name by putting to such a cheap device! I bought a mandolin of Wolfgang and it was way to heavy duty to where is didn't work but this is so cheap the top plate falls off and it overheats everything... I am now out two way shipping...

Used item once. Top plate fell off and won't clamp back into place. Reviews are showing it's a common problem. Shame on HSN and Wolfgang Puck for promoting a product even though there's clearly a quality issue!

I was so excited to get this panini maker. What a disappointment. There were cracks in the handle when I opened it and the top plate just wouldn't stay on. Even had my husband check it and he said it was a bad design. Too bad...
Makes Great Sandwiches

This grill makes great sandwiches. The bread toasts perfectly. If you have cheese in the sandwich, it melts perfectly after about 4 minutes. You can see the green light cycling on and off to maintain temp - to me this is a very important feature. Grill plates come off and go on easily, despite what other reviewers have said. I like that you can remove the plates for cleaning, but honestly, sometimes all you have to do is wipe them gently with a damp paper towel after they have cooled. |
