Horrible book and I definitely feel like I was scammed. HSN don't you have any QC for something like this? Information useless--nothing that is not common knowledge to anyone over 15. INDEX AWFUL. Pathetic book and (I hope) embarrasing for author.

All the negative reviews ARE CORRECT!!! Bought 2, one for me and one for a gift. Am stuck because of the expense of returning the books. Verry disappointing. HSN you really goofed on this one. Old tips, misspelling, same tips repeated over and over. I'm REALLY upset with HSN---DID ANYONE --- QUALITY CONTROL-- HAPPEN TO READ THIS BOOK?????? IT'S A RIPOFF--DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK!!! Doubt this review will be printed.

If you don't have the extra money to throw away, pass this one by. The grammar and spelling is enough to turn ones head and the tips ARE NOT earth shattering or even that beneficial. I'd pass it by if I could put the money to work in better areas.

I got this for my father-in-law for Christmas and I couldn't have done any better if I had given him a suitcase full of money. I had to threaten to take the calendar away from him so that he could open his other presents. He wouldn't put it down.

I don't usually write these things, but I was surprised by the negative reviews. If you're looking for a book to read in 1 sitting cover-to-cover then this might not be for you. But if you're like me & don't have a good attention span (LOL) then this book is perfect. I page thru it during commercials (I need DVR, LOL) and mark the pages with tips I don't want to forget with post-its. The FREE STUFF chapter has already saved me money. Best of all, its HUGE so I can come back to it over and over!

This book is great! I especially loved the tips it offered in using everyday household supplies for things I would not normally think of. Like million uses for vinegar (i.e. to wipe away salt stains from the winter shoes) or using lip balm to stop the bleeding if you cut yourself shaving. In today's economy any tips on how to not spend money if we don't have to are more than welcomed! I highly recommend this book.

A friend of mine gave me this book as a gift, I entertain a lot being in the film industry and I have a household staff in Beverly Hills so I bought a book for each one so that they can use it as a reference guide; how to get red wine out of the furniture and so many more great tips. It is our household bible. I highly recommend it.

Dont waste your money - not much on page - and the full stuff - you can get online - but most from this book is expired. Terrible index |
