Beautiful but the Sorelle Crystal figures are junk / , OR   6/7/2009
Love the base but the Sorelle Crystal Swan figure I purchased with this showed up with a large chunk out of the tail. That should never have made it past QC. HSN sent a new swan but it has glue showing between the body and wings as well as tiny scrathes all over. This is better than the first one so I'm settling. Strange thing is HSN will not allow me to give a review on the Sorelle Swan even though I ordered the two at the same time. Good way to keep negative reviews at bay.

Part of the reason I bought mine was because of the cord. I would rather plug it in and leave it on rather than use batteries. Another thing, I haven't h ad any problems setting items on mine. I love it and can't wait to use at Xmas time. I bought 2, thats how much I love mine.

I have had the Sorelle illuminated base for several months and recieved more compliments than I can count. The really amazing thing is that my husband and brothers-in-law noticed this item in my diningroom and loved it. The soft, warm glow is lovely and no worries like with a candle.

I purchased two of these items a few months ago, and I am very pleased with it. The illumination is lovely and I love the idea that it doesn't require batteries. Now I'm purchasing the eggs to display on mine for a change of scenery, and I'm going to gift the other with one of the eggs to a friend for Easter.

I had bought and returned this product due tot he fact that is is not battery operated. This product is not easy to use due to the electrical cord. I would buy it again if you make it battery operated.

I have tried to use this with several of my Sorelle items, the colors do not show up, the items do not sit on the base correctly and the worst part is the cord!!! It is really a disappointing purchase.

A surprising win for Sorelle! / , CT   9/20/2008
I am a hesitant Sorelle lover, meaning that they have some lovely items, but some can have serious quality control issues. However, I ordered about 5 of these, and they worked well, illuminating various crystal pieces with great charm and pizazz! Surprising quality from Sorelle though, so my best advice (WITH ALL SORELLE considering the other reviews: Inspect carefully!! Then, enjoy.

suggest that Sorelli look elswhere for a supplier. We have gone through 2 of these units, both of which would have been a potential fire hazard ifsomeone not at home. Both units shorted out, one was sent back as a replacement and the 2nd one lsted a few months and went up in smoke. Great idea,just not enough testing or research done before marketing.

I love these lights.But after 2 months 2 out of 3 started burning out one color at a time.Over the 30 days.I would like to order more . Postage is crazy for them. They were all sent separately putting instead of all in one box. And they are packed in the box from the factory, and then put in a cardboard box, then put in a huge box filled with peanuts. A lot in fact, most things are sent that way. What a waist of trees, pollution etc all bad for green earth. Please do something about this.
