I also bought this recipe book with the rice cooker and they are a great combo. The recipe was very easy and it turned out so good! It is also good if you are just cooking for two people. Usually I have so many leftovers I don't ever eat them. This seems to be easy to make smaller portions. I also just assumed that the rice cooker only cooked rice but it has recipes for a variety of dishes. You can even make desserts in it. I can't wait to try more recipes!

I bought this book with the WP rice cooker and returned both. These recipies require manipulating the cooker in a way that requires your presence in the kitchen thew whole time you're cooking (selecting cook/warm/cook--adding ingredients over tinme, etc). This defeats the purpose of the cooker. In addition, these recipes work just the same in glass top cookers which are easier to clean.

I have the 10qt and recently purchased another one for our camper. I did not realize it was only a 5 quart but I am so glad bkz if will fits nicely in my camper. The smaller rice cooker and cookbook are perfect for camping. I can't wait to use it. I am a cookbook nut. I have over 65 cookbooks. Well written, easy and many good dishes. Deb thank you for making WP rice cooker even more worth while. I also have many items from WP. Have never been disappointed. Thank you HSN!

This is a great cookbook, but there aren't as many recipes as you think because there are full page pictures for almost every one. Most ingredients are commonly found in my house and most recipes have less than 10 ingredients. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 is because while most recipes are converted in the back for 5 cup cookers, not every recipe is converted. Overall, I'm glad I bought it.

Lots of great ideas for a rice cooker. Even though the recipes are for a 7 cup rice cooker she has a conversion chart for the 5 cup rice cooker so there is no problem. She even tells you how to convert recipes if using a 10 cup rice cooker.

Giganto pictures. you won't need reading glasses to see the BIG ppictures or the BIG print. IF they put both the picture and receipe on the same page, this would have allowed more room for more receipes. I think they attempted to S t r e t c h what receipes she did have out enough to call it a Book :) Either way, GLAD I have something from Debra (a great cook) to use in the Rice maker. Thank you Debra.

Beautifully Illustrated, wonderful cookbook / , NC   3/24/2008
I received this today and I can't wait to try out the recipes. It was just what I have been looking for to get more use from my Rice Cooker. The book is beautifully illustrated and the recipes look absolutely wonderful! I would highly recommend it!
