I was disappointed that many of the recipes are the same as the book that comes with the 10 cup rice cooker. The inside cover page is hazy. I may send this back-I think it should have been stated that the recipes were duplicates.

I bought my ricecooker last year, didn't really know what to do with it until I ordered the cookbook. The recipes are simple and 3 I already tried were excellent!

Wished I hadn't bought it. Recipes are great if you happen to have all available ingredients and want to take the time to pre- cook in another format before adding to rice cooker. If you have time, shopping ingredients, then maybe. But still mine creates crust around edge and drips water/moisture. Like my slow cooker way better. Will be passing it on after trying it out several times now.

GREAT RECIPES AND PICTURES / , WY   10/17/2008
Just got my cookbook today and am so impressed. This is my first cookbook from Debra Murray and I can say I will be buying more. Great pictures, easy to follow directions and tells you how to use thr rice cooker for things other than rice...so excited to try more recipes.

I've only made a couple of recipes from the book but they were clearly directed and delicious. Made the Jambalaya - super good - my kids were fighting over the leftovers to take to their apartments. Thank you so much.

Love the Rice Cooker!! / , IA   8/21/2008
I just LOVE LOVE the Wolfgang Puck Rice Cooker! It's great to just put fresh food together pretty quickly place in rice cooker & Go! I can eat at the time I feel hungry! I bought this cookbook to expand my recipes for the rice cooker. It has some great recipes! I did not give it a full 5 stars only because I was hopeful this cookbook would have more recipes than it did. The cookbook is great don't get me wrong, I just had hoped there would be more of them. Still AWESOME! Thanks Wolfgang & Debra!

I am sorry to say I was very dissapointed in this book. I hoped for everyday short cut ideas and got HIGH BROW recipes. I love the rice cooker, but not the book, I am looking foward to some everyday ideas like you do on T.V. Better luck next time.

Another great cookbook from Debra here. I am fascinated by all the things I can do with my rice cooker. It was worth it all for the tip about using the steamer basket to cook the whole meal. Great work, Debra!!! Keep them coming!

I just received this, last night I made 3 recipes from the book: split pea soup, poached salmon, and scalloped potatoes. I collect cookbooks and I have 3 RCs including a fuzzy logic and I have two other RC cookbooks, so I hesitated purchasing another one, but this one is fantastic! I made the salmon in 15 m, then cleaned RC and made split pea soup in 45 minutes. Everybody raved. Tomorrow they will have the potatoes. I'm anxious to try many more recipes!
