This book had a lot of creations that have way too many ingredients. They looked good, but just too many ingredients that I don't keep in my house... There were a few that I did try and they were great, but this book just wasn't for me and my family's simple taste. I found the cookbook that came with the Rice Cooker to be more for my needs.

I purchased this cookbook when I bought Wolf's 10-Cup Rice Cooker since I'd never cooked in one before. I found the recipes to be less simple than I anticipated. I'm a small town gal and not used to having to have special items in the pantry. I'm sorry to say I haven't used any of the recipes as yet. Although I have used the jambalaya and mac & cheese from the rice cooker's manual. Those were good. I probably just need a little practice and open up my cooking repertoire a bit.

Not really impressed with book, great effort and a few good ideas but thats about it. If it was free to return I would have.

I don't know that I would make most of the recipes in this book, but it has something for everyone. I tried baking a cake in it, and I couldn't get the cook feature to stay on. I winged it and it came out OK. I'm not sure I will use the rice cooker and this cookbook too often.

I own the ricer cooker and I often give it as a gift. When I do, I always send this book along with it. It is full of great recipes and gives you many ideas on how to get the most out of your rice cooker. I have loved all of Debbie's books. You can't go wrong. The meatball recipe is fantastic.

I was surprised when I opened my rice cooker and found a cook book inside with some of the same recipes as this book and some better than this book. I was also disappointed that there are very few recipes a large font was used to try to fill the pagese. I tried one of the recipes for rice and beans and the recipe was clearly not tested. The amount of rice that was called for far exceeded the capacity of the cooker. Not worth the money. Now I have to pay to ship it back. Dont bother!!!

Great recipes that led to many good ideas. Would definitely recommeend to anyone not used to cooking with a rice cooker. |
