Really low quality    11/30/2008
My dog did not like this and it did not trim his nails. This is a low quality product, which I am finding overall with HSN lately.

Maggie Nor Max liked it / , TN   11/24/2008
My Yorkes protested big time.. I followed all the directions and tried for days to use this tool.. no way.. Max even bit at me and I could not calm a little 8 lb dog.. He went under the bed and peeked out at me all day.. so HSN you are getting this back. At least it only cost me 2.75 to send it back to you..

SCARED    11/19/2008
My dog ran awsy and then when I held her while my husband tried to use this my dog cried and we stopped and put it back in the box and shipped it back.

Not Good / , MI   11/18/2008
This did not have the guts to trim my 100# doberman's nails. I can trim his nails with clippers but he absolutely will not tolerate this trimmer + it won't begin to trim his nails. Also have two schipperkes & it will trim their nails...for a short period of time b/4 it stops. Will return.

SCARED ME LET ALONE MY DOGS / , CO   11/15/2008
I thought this would be great for my dogs and even with slowly introducing it to them, they weren't going for it. My dogs cried when using it. I noticed it is also selling at Walmart for the same price but it comes with two extra filers and in the original box. Very disappointed in this.

Not good for large dogs / , VA   11/10/2008
We recieved this today and tho my dog had no problems with the noise or vibration it just didn't do much as far as taking down her nails. It would stall out if you pressed the least little bit. Was not worth the S&H let alone $19.99. What ever happened to quality control? HSN has been putting out some questionalble products. I wish I had seen the reviews before I had actually bought this. Customers are the true gage of wheather something is a good buy or product. Am sending it back today.

PedPaws Platinum Works Great / , CA   11/8/2008
I was very skeptical about buying this item, but I really needed something to cut my cat and boston terrier claws. I have now used this item on both my cat and dog and it worked great. It's very sturdy and looks well made. I had no problems with it cutting the animals nails. It cut the claws fast and smooth. It wasn't hard to use and it's not a loud sounding item so it didn't scare the animals. I would recommend this product.

Can''t teach a dog new tricks!!! / , OH   11/6/2008
Keep clipping the old fashion way. Vibration of the grinding was too much for my dog, I even did what the lady recommended to do whitch was to slowly introduced it to the dog over a few days. Can't teach a dog new tricks. Send it back!

great results / , CA   11/3/2008
Purchased for my cocker/daschund mix. She grows "slippers" on her feet, so I use electric hair clippers on them. Because of that, she wasn't at all affected by the Pedi-Paws. I held the nail itself firmly, while sanding to help lessen the vibration running through her paw and to control the pressure on the sander. She actually fell asleep as I worked on her feet! The results are remarkable. I was disappointed that it didn't come with the 2, C size batteries it requires or a replacement sander.

Dogs didn''t like it    11/3/2008
Vibration of the grinding stressed the dogs, therefore they wouldn't set still. Clipping the old fashion way is faster.
